I'm sure this has been discussed before... But what's the deal with the score glitch? It's an old TFC glitch, ¿no? Sometimes they flip flop, other times it takes the score away.
Is there no fix for this? | |

The scoreboard messages are sent unreliably, that is that the server does not verify that they were received (or received correctly). Sometimes packets get corrupted or missing in transit. HL saves the reliable messages for things like player locations and firing..

In other words, it's a matter of priority. Things that impact the playing experience take precedence over relatively unimportant stuff.
The score glitch has been around for a long time, personally it doesn't matter all that much. It could well be 0-0 :P | |

Yea, it's definitely not THAT important. I've just heard people talk about it in-game because they don't know what the score is. It's been around for as long as I can remember. | |

It's been like that since day one. It's interesting TFC had such a lively competitive scene in a game that can't even keep score :P | |
