Anyone else been running into this lately? I have been trying to narrow it down as it does not occur on other servers. I imagine it is related to one of the hops between my ISP and the server. I keep getting different traceroute results, though. Sometimes it goes through fine, others I get timeouts on different hops.

That just means your internet is messed up. Nothing to do with server.

I only know that because of my 56k dial up days.

at the moment i don't see anything wrong between the server and your ip. Theres some minor ping spikes between NY and IL, but nothing that would cause that.

I started getting that error flashed at the top right corner immediately after my ping skyrockets. I can't stand AT&T DSL and as of late it has been having some really low speeds so needless to say. Once we get settled in the new house it's gone.

That first IP was from my work VPN, unfortunately.

I have had some luck with using a (personal) VPN connection to Canada, although my shot registration is complete shit. I may contact some of the network engineers at the office and see if they have any ideas. Sometimes abusing my power is good.
