Just google "TFC Crosshairs", and you'll find some. Basically they go into your Sprites folder. I use custom ones myself, because "old eyes". ;)

As for the command to see your FPS..... in console(or in your config file) put: netgraph x

Where x = 1, 2, or 3. I use 3 myself, but look at all of them, and decide which one you like best.

As for the drop-conc off the deck..... the only thing that will get you good at that is practice.

    Put

default_fov 130
in your userconfig.cfg and you won't have to keep entering it. (if you don't have one, make one, and store all your stuff in there; it's just a text file with .cfg extension).

I explained a bit how to make/edit your own crosshairs (or sprites in general) on the middle of page 4. You could just download custom ones though from the half dozen or so TFC file directories that still exist though (easily findable with some Googling), which would prolly be easier. I could upload mine, but most people find them too small, especially since I play at 1024x768 resolution (I prefer 4:3 and the size in which that res displays the hud/text on my monitor; you can play around a little with making that stuff easier to read at higher resolutions but it has serious limitations, so I just stay oldschool).

I was always a D player (or Hunted/AD player) back in the day and never really branched out to proper O classes, lol... So I'm far from the best Medic adviser. =p But you don't hold the conc for the drop conc from deck to deck, you just jump off and throw it behind you at like a ~30 degree angle downward, so it goes off at max distance, more or less (an actual Med player could describe it more precisely). If you play decent concmaps, you should be able to figure it out. My issue is I play on 37 (or a dozen at least) servers and I always get the timing mixed up on HHs from server to server, so I'm thinking about finally trying lagless nade timers again. They aren't free from drawbacks depending on how you normally set up your nades. I can explain that if anyone needs as well.

I explained how to see/set your FPS in the middle of page 3, and various optimizations to help gain air acceleration/speed and what not on those first few pages.

These changes will help conc distance and timing.

I flub like 2% of my concs now(where they go off and don't move me at all)

It will also improve shot registering. I went from 66kph over 500 hours to 90kph over the last 50 hours since making these changes.

Sniper went from 85kph over 70 hours to 117kph over the last 15 hours since making those changes.

I know it's a practice thing, but like I said, I have to hold my conc (q) while I do it and it limits movement. So I was more curious on people's key setups, plus that option that spoofer hit on of switching grens to two clicks instead of holding it.

I also found spoofer stat page, and I don't recognize any of the names while playing. Thanks for all the tech stuff here though.

I used mouse 4 and 5 for nades and secondary.

I use a razer deathadder this lets me use my thumb that usually does nothing aside from holding the mouse.

Middle finger for mouse down+up for jumping (which I haven't gotten used to yet) May bust my brain and do that jump delay thing Spoofer was talking about.

I usually just random nick lol, at least here. I don't play on the server much anymore, as I typically wait 'til night for the varied AD or league CTF maps that Funtown or pS play, and it's usually a less-frustrating team experience since everyone is typically a vet and communicates and cooperates with one another. =/

Most people either have mouse2 or mouse4/5 as their nade keys, and hold them without sacrificing movement, or use two-touch. I use two-touch on mouse5 for primary, and f for secondary (which can also be thrown with mouse5). Doesn't limit my movement at all, and certainly you don't want to be holding f or g (or q) while trying to move around (as an O class or any other).

And yeah, gg just make a jump buffer if mwheel is too unergonomic. It's always been an accepted part of the game, at least in the competitive community. As I said earlier, it's not how you jump, but how you move that matters. My jump is mouse4.

I might have to get a new mouse and give it a try. I still play with the standard mouse (with a worn out right click). Though I've probably played with my q and e binds so long I'd be lost.

I use q to go to last weapon used and use it to switch rocket to super shottie quickly

Mouse 4 is jump, arrows for movement. KP_end nade 1, KP_down for nade 2, KP_ins for mic. Right CTRL for duck. Right shift for "walk".

I personally use a double tab script. Just click your grenade key once and let go and it holds the grenade unless you click it a second time and then it will toss it. Really good if you HH alot like i do and still want to be able to move around. I dont have great finger dex.

I almost wish it was a standard option because it basically prevents you from being able to spam so fast. Crazy how some people just throw 6 grenades in half a second.

Could changing the FPS effect demo pipes? Something I've done has made my pipes weaker on the bridge. I can barely pipe to deck, which normally is easy. Now most of the time it barely lifts me off the ground. No fat or viagra jokes please.

I don't play demo, but I can't think of any reason why it would affect pipe jumping (in the negative, anyway). If you disabled vsync to get higher FPS, you might be dealing with less input lag/delay on your monitor now, which might affect your sense of timing. All I can think of. Did you change your rate settings, or just your FPS stuff?

Looks like imma have to either get a new mouse or figure out all this technical information (one click prime one click release mainly) and interested in figuring out that jump buffer.

My mouse 4 and 5 just magically stopped working. I click it and hold it, but it just releases at random and sends my nades in unintended locations.

I must have blown myself up like 20 times last night. Was terrible.

I also downloaded ramp_run and wow. I'm terrible at that 2nd jump. Cant do it.
