I figured this could be a could place for people to chime in and talk about those players they particularly enjoy playing with / against, and to highlight the reasons and things those particular players do that makes it enjoyable. Let's try and keep the flaming to a minimum and not attack folks for who they list here. End of the day, Drippy's is a fun time server, but we do get a decent amount of above average (and some very good) players here
brah - obvious reasons. Brings the heat, keeps you focused and dialed in, and forces you to get good or just give up. Movement, decision making, and execution are very high level
matt - always brings a good game. Makes it hard to get through, wherever he is. Soldier, sniper, medic, he's going to make sure you have a hard time. In particular, I think matt has good movement and TFC IQ
Olinkapo - perseverence. He doesn't care about K/D ratio. He just brings it. When he's on offense, I know to expect a relentless barrage of firepower. He does a good job at bringing chaos to a defense, which in and of itself is a crucial role. Great job at disrupting a D scheme and keeping box room / battlements in complete ruins
Statix / Mr. Xander - I really only see them play sniper...when I'm on either of their teams, sniping duties and yard control is inevitable. Going against them though, there's a good chance that 1 of every 3 attempts to cross over will be thwarted. It's fun just trying to get past them, let alone further into the base. Sharpshooters, for sure
Moreno - really solid soldier, good sniper (when he wants to stick it back to me), and a good medic. Overall, good decision making, good movement, and always gives me a hard time
Help - another good soldier. Solid lockdown defense. Really wears you down after you fought your way down to the basement and then find him there. Making it down spiral or elevator to find him is depressing lol
UPSET - in my opinion, a generally all around solid player. I've seen him play many classes and positions, and always executes nicely. Lately, I've been sniping with him and he's rock solid. A generally tough guy to go against, but good guy to be on the same team as. Knocking off 1 star for the other nights rage quit (sorry bud)
'w0w' - only saw him and played with him for the first time this week, played for a few games. Solid soldier. A general ass kicker, taker of names, and cleanup crew of destruction
Nuggs - a long time player whom I played with occasionally back about 15 (or more) years ago. Was always a solid name in the community. High level player, all around, all classes. Playing against him can suck, playing with him is better lol. Top of the game, in my opinion

Illusion, Gaba, Olinkapo, Help, Upset (when he doesnt rage quit), Med, Brah, Matt (when hes not playing like a lame), rupp, advanced melee, purg3d, reckoner (not sure if hes still active, i play here and there and havent seen him since returning), hicee, mintberry, that other engie that I cannot remember name, kwyjibo (when he doesnt rage quit), murf, kyree, pigskin, blackout, kilo (when hes not on his troll game throwing matches), pheesh (doesnt play much, but great offense, on par with brah IMO), funkeh (also doesnt play much), vishus, DS (also doesnt play much), this guy who pepperjack cheese who started this thread. i dont remember him ever playing before, but is good team mate. Spoofer (even though he doesnt play), Nug/Patrick (havent seen him on in a while), nookie, xipo, fridge, fred
Sure im missing others.
I didnt include people who only play sniper as I feel they arent a great asset to have. | |

Any of the grapefruits++ to play with/against because 99% of the time most of you annoy the shit out of me. There was once a TFC player by the name of Malice, he didn't have hands, used his feet, he was better than most of you, sadly.

gaba - If this was 00 he'd probably be better than all of you if he played leagues
matt - absolute trash of a player refuses to play against me in any form of the game

Just read the question........ before reading anyone else's lists.....
I gotta chime in without influences, if you know what I mean.
Shit.... it actually goes both ways. The same people that I enjoy playing with, I enjoy playing against.... and for the same reasons. If they are on my team, I know they are reliable communicators, and can help me with the objective. When playing against them.... they present the additional challenge, which I also enjoy.
That said....(and I may miss a few in this list, as I'm trying to recall from memory)
epz, Olinkapo, Fred, Gaba, Illusion, Mintberry, Fluffo, FMB, Kyree, Brah, Pepperjack, Kurt Blowbrain, Phear(aka Fear), LG-5150, Murf, Sprite, Xipo, $creamer, Boo Boo, a Rabbit(whom I haven't seen on in a while), Dave Lister, Moose Poop(best Pyro I've seen in this game)...
Shit... so many others. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing with everyone here.... It's just that those I listed above(and more) communicate, play the objective, and work for the TEAM. Playing on the same team is great, playing against them is also fun.
Sometimes, I have to end up in Spec more than actually play... but that's because I have a job to do, and make sure the server is a fun place to play. I'm okay with that. I have no problem helping new people out, and cutting them a break(so to speak) because they don't know our rules here.
Sorry..... was about to go off on a tangent. Opted not to. But anyway, just let it be said that I enjoy playing with everyone, but I will protect the fun of the server above friendships. I'll help out anyone who needs/wants it. People who are new, and don't know our rules, I'll help them to understand them. But someone who wants to cross the line... doesn't matter how much I like you... I'll whip out my hammer, and use it. It's nothing personal. | |

Me personally, I enjoy playing with all the regulars. I’m not a fan of Brah though. The way he griefs the opposing teams main spawn with his demo spamming and caltrop spamming… that’s not good form. It shows a lack of respect for the game, the server and the players. It’s like a big “fuck you noobs lol” to everybody… including his fans. I’d warn him about this, if it was up to me. I’d perm ban him if he continued… that’s how low I rate his style of griefing gameplay. | |

There's a couple snipers here, The Big Dog, Jodi, being one who make crossing the bridge very challenging if you're opposing them and make crossing the bridge easy if they're on your team.
I forgot the dude's name. But there's someone here who has a brutal scout attrition game. Dude just goes after the flag like an 18 year old douchebag goes for pussy. Just keeps trying and trying with no care in the world of k/d ratio. Basically any scout/medic that are hellbent on getting the flag I enjoy having on the same team. I enjoy and also rue them as opponents for the challenge they present. Basically any scouts/medics trying to get the flag are great to have on the team.
Reckoner wins my respect for making three sgs look like malfunctioning Chuck E. Cheese animatronic robots. Dude just conc jumped right passed them and got the flag up the spiral no problem.
Pepperjack cheese wins my respect for his epic demo pwnage video and infliction of butthurt on EVIL server. The butthurt inflicted was so thick you could cut it with a butter knife. I almost feel bad for Angi, almost xD
People give Mr. Walnuts shit for camping outside the sniper deck door but that's within the rules and it takes patience to lay in wait and skill to get to that position and stay alive. I'm always happy to be on the same team as Mr. Walnuts and not have to worry about his pipebomb death traps as they are difficult to evade. Pig pussy (or is it whistling pig?) is good at demo camping the basement and keeping the flag safe or making it difficult to capture the flag.
Olinkapo, Mr. Yo, and Slesar' sborschik III razryada are formidable engineers. Olinkapo is also good as medic, so teams get good bang for their buck to have him cap the flag as a medic and then have him on for a virtual ironclad defense as engineer. The names escape me, but on the note of engineer there are some players here who are great at getting teleporters in the enemy elevator up.
Kyree has gotten some great mass kills with his detpacks placed next to the 2nd floor respawn.
Matt and Fred are great as soldiers. It's almost impossible to get passed Fred when he's guarding the bottom of the spiral as soldier. The video of Matt intercepting concing medics mid-air with rockets was very impressive. | |

I enjoy playing with all the aforementioned and all the posters in this thread. Really, anyone who loads this game up on a consistent basis to play after 2 decades is a winner in my book.
