Once again the OS drive failed in the server. The server host replaced more than just the drive this time, and hopefully took care of the issue. | |

Back when I used to repair desktop computers 10-15 years ago, this extremely overweight guy that works there was wearing a sweater and chatting with me right before closing.
When he touched the corner of the desktop computer owned by the guy that sits next to me, a loud static electricity spark could be heard. The next morning that computer's bios was all reset and having issues. I couldn't stop laughing as I revealed the cause to him. | |

Due to the number of several mechanical hard drives and now a failed SSD over the course of only a few months, I'd be curious if the storage controller on the chipset is okay on the server.
It might be an extremely out of date or an incorrect driver. SSD's fail less often but can & still do fail. The frequency of issues just makes me suggest you investigate other causes.
Windows update loves to "update" drivers that can cause issues, especially if they decide to swapout manufacturer but similar chipset drivers. | |

yep, hence the initial post suggesting it might be difficult to explain/resolve, and the most recent one saying they replaced more than the drive. | |
