    What about at the end of the game it says the 2-top skilled players.(1 from each team)

What about flag carrier kills.
After all that is the object of the game.

Actually, I'd say the point is to get the flag out! Nowhere do the game objectives, if I recall correctly, mention defending the flag. :)

I've played on servers that ranked skill, and this was always one of the issues. Caps, KPH, flag carrier kills, or none of the above? It's a highly subjective thing to rank skill. Perhaps if it were just simply an average based on various stats. You could call it a power rating and make a nifty little bar graph for us to drool over. Kill to death ratio, KPH, and any other stats that are relevant to a specific class would be used. Extra points based on caps as a minor bonus, since there are those who feel they should count for something. And, possibly make deductions for things like bans. ;) Encourage less mischief and give people an incentive to try harder. Whatever that means. You'd hafta find a geek to work out all the mathematical wizardry, but.. you know, it's a thought.

    How about flag carrier kills with railgun or spanner or is that too lame?

Total dispenser kill stats would be nice for obvious reasons.

Flag carrier kills with knife would be fun to see. Especially after listening to Tony talk about his great basement defense as a spy.

    KILLS WHILE FLAG CARRIER might make some lamers run around with the flag looking for victims when they SHOULD be capping it.
