I was playing it was friendly fire, not used to playing FF, I see I killed some team mates but I was trying to prevent them from capping our flag, would like to know why I got a perm banned and would like to get un banned this sucks, I have been playing on drippys for years now and I never cause any trouble, only problem I ever had is when my son got into the game and was team infecting, he is not allowed on drippys, so I want to know WHY DID I GET A PERM BANN AND HOW TO MAKE IT RIGHT. | |

well should I repost? getting banned just out of the blue is not whining I want an answer as to why this happened, that is not whining I am asking for results so it does not happen again or how to fix this problem. | |

if it is indeed a perm, it was from Drippy himself, and that means it was clear you were targeting teammates.
If that was not the case, it was more likely an auto ban for killing too many teammates, and I think thats only a short time. | |

I'm going to guess you didn't mean to say you killed you own teammates to prevent them from capping....that would definitely get you banned especially with FF on. | |

no they had the flag at almost the top of our spiral, so as demoman, I was piping and throwing mirv nades to prevent them from getting to the flag, we had 2 dam medics on the other team concing and I was trying to hold the medics at bay. I would not go out of my way to kill my own team mates. just was trying to prevent the other team from capping on us. | |

wasn't a perm ban - was a 30 minute auto ban for teamkilling. Though, you already know that since you rejoined later.
In the 3 seconds prior to your ban, you killed four teammates with mirv(s). | |

Madness, it takes a hella more skill to play as a demo with FF on, but on the same token it doesn't make it any easier when you have teammates that charge the flag and run over your pipes without identifying. As for MiRV spam, well... With FF on, using them should be at the very least a last resort. | |

Best way to prevent the other team from capping is stop them from entering your base in the first place. If you have to kill them at top spiral, all you're doing is delay the inevitable.
When FF is on, you cannot just spam the living fuck out of the flag drop - you'll kill your teammates that way. And concs? Pssh. That shit is an illusion - your aim is not affected at all, only your field of view is, and you don't need perfect FOV to detonate pipebombs.
That's why I love FF: if you teamshoot like it's going out of style, you won't last long. Accidental TK is one thing. Spamming the flag drop like that and killing your teammates simply makes my job as an attacker much easier. | |
