It took a while, but I am apparently vindicated! The wheels of justice move slowly but effectively.

Circuit Judge Denny Chin said evidence of ball tampering was "compelling, if not overwhelming", and there was evidence that Brady "knew about it, consented to it, encouraged it."
The three judge panel sided 2-1 with the NFL. The lone dissenting judge was only troubled by the length of the suspension, not that he felt Brady was innocent.

Exactly why I'm no longer a fan of that league. Their "chosen sons" can do as they like, and only pay minimum consequences if they actually get caught(which is rare).
I'd rather watch a legit "bush league"(Arena) and actively support them, than toss another dime at the NFL. | |

This applies to more than just the NFL. Most professional sports, in general. Do you watch the NBA? It's a joke, just like the NFL. NBA refs have been caught betting on games and it's also blatantly obvious that they do their best to steer the outcome of games. The NBA was much better in the 80s and early 90s. Not to mention every superstar gets every call and the refs cater to them.
Side note: I was at the Celtics/ Hawks game last night and was sitting a few rows back from Bill Belichick. Dude has SWAG.

It's an argument against authority. Apparently Goodell has ultimate authority because of a collective bargaining argument (*agreement). Still no excuse for ignoring the reality of the situation. | |
