Poll: this poll speaks for itself
perm ban (47%)
only pussies play from spawn (6%)
temp ban (24%)
set up camp on the sniper deck like a real man (6%)
its not your moms vagina so come out already
just don't care what he does (12%)
its time to come out of the closet (6%)
let him continue playing from spawn like a pussy
Poll has ended (it ran for 7 days). 17 total votes.
i don't know about every one else but i think its time for suicide bombers perm ban
when he plays from spawn he does nothing more than distract and disrupt the game
i feel bad for the team he plays on because i know they are going to have one hell of a time getting out of main spawn
he ruins it for both teams
so let me know what you think

have a nice day! :-)

I voted temp ban because at least he learned his lesson after getting killed in his own spawn again and again.

No joke.... I had written a nice long diatribe about him, and just let it sit while I consider the matter. I chose not to post it, though.

Mostly because I'm conflicted about the whole thing.

Truth be told, though, I was going to post a poll asking "would you donate $$ to the server to get him perm'ed".

What he is doing walks the line of being illegal. He's intentionally attracting respawn spam, and he knows it. On the other hand, when the server is less than half full, he snipes on the deck and is pretty good at it.

Permanent bans are usually reserved for cheaters, and those who have demonstrated over time their inability/unwillingness to abide by the rather simple rules put forth here.

That is why I wrestled with the idea, and decided not to post it.

It's true, though.... he does ruin the game for both teams. You've got one team trying to get into play, and running into heavy spam... and the other team has forgotten about the damned flag, and is just trying to kill him. Why?

Getting the flag out with next to no resistance is easy.... killing that spawn hugging douche canoe.... not so much. The challenge gets shifted, and so does the focus of the round. And thus goes the fun of the game, right out the window.

Could a script be written that checks player count when he's on? Probably. Is he worth the trouble to do that? Nope. No single player is.

If he played exclusively when there are less people on(say 12-16 tops).... he'd be on the deck, and this shit wouldn't happen. But no.... he sits IN the respawn, and begs for the spam because he can't sit on the deck and pick people off like bots.

Too lazy to quote a section of Iggy's post because I'm on cell phone but he's right. SB (and other people who play from spawn) knows what he is doing and HE knows that any collateral damage done to his teammates is grounds for getting YOU kicked/banned. Thus making him almost invulnerable. In a sense his teammates are his human shield sort of.

I too, am tired of his shenanigans, and although playing from spawn is not an official rule, maybe it can be added, as this causes grief among teammates, and if you say too much about it, it may constitute a whine.

It's actually really rare to get kicked for going after someone playing from respawn. The system Drippy- put in place leaves an invisible field around "players in play" and buildables, that removes the "respawn protection trigger" from freshly spawned players, for just that reason. The system is designed to prevent people from getting "cheap kills", or at least, penalize them when they do it. Typically, you get "slayed". Now, this CAN get you kicked if you do it enough(Due to Suicide/team change limits).... but like I said, it's pretty rare.

Fred was making the mistake of throwing his spy pills directly at the exit door, and they were bouncing inside the respawn and being defused. Next time(if there is one), throw them at the entrance.... you won't have that problem.

He's worse than NOVACK ever was. He's good at sniping from spawn, if there ever is such a thing. But he definitely disrupts the game because he teeters around the rules and invites nades to spawn.

What ever happened to good base snipers, like Jaws?

    Confession time:

Sorry people, but Suicide Bomber is actually one of my "other" accounts that I use. You have to admit, it's pretty damn effective. Nevertheless, no hard feelings, ok?

Oh, I'd also like to thank the Dripster for being so tolerant and allowing me to ruin the game for so many of you.

Inshallah!

Except you arent really suicide bomber..

It only ruins the game for other people as much as they let it. He doesnt block anything, its easy to go around him. If the increased spawn spam bothers you that much, you could spend the game defending the spawn.

Same thing happened with A123, and I'm sure will happen with someone else in the future.

As I recall(correct me if I'm wrong here), but didn't A123 at least leave the respawn room? Hugged it, sure.....

Drippy-, it's your server, and I do understand what you're saying.

By chance, I was on the opposing team. I didn't notice him on, and as I've said before, I won't play on his team. And yes, I did contribute to the respawn spam once I found out he was indeed playing from there. Not for the cheap kills, but to send the message that he should man up and get into play like the rest of us.

It wasn't long before I was tired of it, and just went into Spectate, and tossing PMs to Fred. I joined a team after he left during the next round.

The shame of it all is that I was looking to get some good game play in, but the whole thing distracted me from that, and I couldn't enjoy the game. With that in mind, I'm no longer just going to avoid his team.... I'm going to avoid playing if I see him on. Just because I know it's going to be a shit show.

Do you think anyone else aside from you took that post seriously?

I love Suicide Bomber. He's one of the good bros on here. It's a joy to be able to spam enemy spawn at will.

Wish there were more like him. That would be super cool if we had 2 teams full of people playing from respawn! Some poor unfortunate soul would have to leave the base, however for it to work.

Sadness.
