Yeah, good luck trying to educate people on that. They appear pretty quickly after that anyways. I'd love it if people: threw bags, and didn't gobble up every bag laying around after someone dies, one can only hope. | |

First of all, fuck you medics. Every time you conc you knock the snipers out of the way and prevent them from doing their jobs or you get them killed. Conc from the water or the bridge. That goes for demons trying to do the same thing.
I feel like I am always yelling at people for taking bags and taking armor. Snipers and scouts do not need armor and do not need ammo bags. You either don't live long enough or don't use that much ammo. Scouts especially do not need the grenades bag.
As for the rest of you, take on bag except for engi's you can have 2.
It would be nice if everyone started with full ammo and full armor. | |

Oh if we're trying to create a singularity in the Whiners Corner:
Snipers - type /kill , go to the class selection screen, and select a useful one.
Engies - are you all set up, and not having to maintain your SG much due to a lot of action in the enemy base? There's a bridge outside. Feel free to explore.
Infected? Stand in the corner, opposite main spawn - unless there's an SG there, and the poor engie bastard is frantically trying to keep it up under heavy O attack. Ideally, learn to type /kill.
Snipers do not need grenades. Which is not an issue, as we've already agreed, stop being a fucking sniper.
If FF is on, your helpful pipe traps on D at the top of spiral, or outside main spawn, may turn out to be less helpful than you thought.
Are you a demo who sits in the spiral, or water spiral, and adds nothing to the game for 95% of the time? Type in /name NewName to change it from Walnuts. (This whine is a '05 claret I believe. I believe it's past its best, as like the engie mentioned above, the bridge has since been discovered.)
Are you getting capped on a lot? That's okay - cite "stacking" and complain a lot. DO NOT STOP TURTLING. (This is important). It's much better to lose 10-0 than to lose 100-90.
Oh, and finally - have you got no O? Have you got 13 players on D? There's a solution. Go O. It's radical, but it might just work.
Finally, finally - YOUR KILL STREAK DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER. IF YOU ARE CAUSING PROBLEMS TO YOUR TEAM DUE TO YOUR SELFISH DESIRE TO KEEP YOUR KILL STREAK GOING, TYPE /kill.
(IRL, obviously).

Peeves? Me? Gee, there’s really not much to complain about. Most of us are fairly experienced players so there’s not a lot of noobie shit going on. I guess if I thought real hard I could come up with a couple.
1. Spies. Friendly spies, particularly. More particularly, the ones that never leave my fort, gas the shit out of it, and run around in enemy colors trying to draw team fire. When I am admin, this will be a bannable offense.
2. Medics. The ones that insist on healing you all the way up to 140 – but only if you are in the middle of defending against an onslaught because they only do this standing in front of you. The second worse medics? The ones that don’t heal at all.
3. Engies that build at main spawn. Bannable. Three or more teles in the basement.
4. Sollies. All of them. Every last fucking one of them spam main spawn. Also strip armor with nail nades constantly being spammed inside fort despite lack of any O effort from the other side.
5. Demomen. With few exceptions, will set up D where its already well-covered. Will only leave that area when its not otherwise being covered because everyone thinks they have it. Actually, demos not the only ones guilty of this.
6. Snipers. Not all. Door snipers?: Bannable. Base snipers who only do so because unable (unwilling) to play a more useful class.
7. “Rocket Snipers” too chickenshit to go O and wind up doing little but blocking egress from the batts.
8. People sitting in basement complaining about how bored they are because they are too stupid to know that it is one of those rare occasions where D is effectively set up at ele/ramp.
9. Any more than 2 people in the basement, any less than 1 person (or more than 2) each at ele/ramp.
10. The Mute People. People I have to keep on mute because the are incapable of refraining from constantly blurting out repetitious inane, stupid shit or impressing us with their ignorance all game long and never offering up any humor, wit, or useful recon info. I wish muting were a good solution, and it mostly is, but a glitch means if I mute one, one or two others I don’t want muted still are. Permagaggable.
11. Admins. Only issue bans for stuff that don’t have anything to do with the above.

It would help if you didn't stand up at the front of the batts. I try to be mindful of the snipers because I know what you mean. I will wait for you if you are moving any. But we're going off the batts. | |

I only conc from the battlements when I HH from them to avoid being shot by a good enemy sniper. a good sniper can pick any one of us off if we're exposed on the bridge or water.
When there is enough cover to conc down on the bridge or water, I conc there. But if say Wisdom, Dave Lister, Spoofer (just to name a few) are sniping, I'm HHing from battlements as much as possible.
Also, I was more referring to the HWs and Soldiers that sit there on the sniper deck and shoot across the bridge. Grow a pair and run over there.... | |
