I think Buck won't be unbanned but I am curious what the community thinks.
The background story as I understand it:
He'd been perm-banned at least once before, I believe for door blocking. A thread was posted where he asked for forgiveness and drippy granted it.
Not long ago (2 weeks before this thread?) he was perm-banned again. I was on at the time and recall him team infecting very purposefully, he may have been doing other things, I don't recall.
He recently came back under a new steamID and the new ID was detected and perm banned for ban evasion.
Then a couple days ago he came back and asked for forgiveness in a forum thread and said he was off his meds and talking to a counselor.

Hello, I was recently permabanend for team infecting and blocking I apologize I was off my medication and now am currently back on and taking counseling to cope with things, can i have another chance for the 7th time?

Ohhhh please no, I dont see any value in this person playing, as for my opinion he takes the fun out of the game. i hate muting folks but when he was on i have to mute him. game disruption is not acceptable for any reason. meds or no meds. the way some of you sound you would accept suicide bomber back, there is no difference in the two, both are idiots.

I don't know the full Buck story or his past. But I still think he should be allowed back in. If if does stupid crap one more time, then make it a perma ban.

Drippy was already lenient in unbanning him once and people who want to try TFC are going to see Drippy's 2Fort and join and if they encounter a guy who is moaning on the mic, team infecting and doorblocking they will uninstall and never come back. I would like if he wasn't banned, but he was banned for good reasons and Drippy is smart enough not to make an exception again. He may be a despot but he's a highly intelligent one! :P | |
