not sure my other post went through (though i just realized my last plz unban post had a lot of back-and-forth on it that ended up devolving into a discussion of which vets have it harder than other vets).
anyways, i'm sorry for the cheating accusations. i have kidded with soldi about that before since he said once that he's banned on evil cuz he's too good (and, yes, he's actually banned on evil). i said, "he's too good!" "bannably good!" i shouldn't have. i'm not sure if it's a perma ban, but i've recently joined the fb group, and i check out the forums all the time. i've been trying to be active in this community and would be really bummed to be banned on my fav server. | |

You've linked your stats page to your forum account... there should be a large "BANNED" banner up top, below "D2F Stats" and "Preferences", that should tell you how long the ban is for if you click on it. If you're not seeing that, it's likely that the ban has expired. Still, do understand that we take accusations like that seriously.
If you only said it once, I doubt it was Perm. It depends on if you've been a problem player, always throwing accusations like that, etc...
Edit: Oops. I thought you had linked your Steam ID to your forum account... but do that in your Preferences button above, and that will tell you how long the ban is for. | |

Drippy’s can be quite difficult to play on at times, due to the insanely good players. A lot of it is genuine skill/reflexes, but a lot of it is also scripts. To mention it is to be called a sore loser. But, chop hopping and the “lean forward, avoiding damage” script (that’s going unpunished), is bringing the server down a touch imo. Some players need watching, that I do know.
Also, these brilliant players never play on the EVIL server, only Drippy’s... I wonder why? Some of them always immediately log off when I go spec mode... very dodgy.

2fort on Evil can either be Disney World compared to Drippy's or a Kafkaesque nightmare if you have bhoppers on. I've seen HW's on evil server with the speed of scouts.
What's this chop hopping you speak of? | |

yeah i just realized it's only a 5-day ban. all good.
i find playing on drippy's to be fine and in fact i'm usually at least top 5 of whatever team i'm playing on. that being said, there are a few players on there that are insanely good (usually snipers). i'm not sure what chop hopping or the lean forward scripts are, though. what's that all about?
re evil: yeah, imo it's impossible to play against a bhopping hwguy and soooo ridiculous - ruins the game. no way in the world they should be able to move that fast. one guy i was playing against even admitted he was using a script to be able to bhop (i think most ppl do this?). so dumb. | |

Nobody really chops much at all on Drippy's except maybe SJW/Napkin or brah but I ain't seen them doing it much lately tbf. Don't have a chop script, doubt anyone really does. It's essentially a non-issue.
Players tend to whine about scripts out of frustration. A reload script offers little advantage if you're used to hitting R. A bhop script helps time your jumps but it doesn't do it for you, you still need to learn to bhop (which isn't difficult). Plus bhop is nerfed on Drippy's to make life easier for the boomers so you can't complain about that. Nobody uses conc or rj scripts, so I'm curious as to what all these scripts you mention are?

The standard of player/gameplay on EviL Battlezone is a bit higher than Drippy's but the better players on Drippy's will do just fine on EviL, especially as they can bhop there (although it's OP due to that mod). I see many of the same names on both servers.

Yeah I don't see anyone other than brah and SJW/Napkin chopping.
I can understand Napkin doing it cause hes not that good and it doesn't make him super overpowered like it does for brah.
But brah doesn't need any advantages. | |
