I think I fixed it
If you want the technical details, ts due to newer mysql versions deciding '0000-00-00 00:00:00' is not a valid timestamp. I actually upgraded mysql some time ago, but it wasn't until i wanted to modify the table structure that it became a 'problem', otherwise it worked exactly as it did before.
So I changed the timestamp to NULL instead since that better describes 'not edited' for a message.
That broke some logic in jumping to unread messages since null is special in mysql, and not considered less than a given timestamp like all zeroes is.
If you want random details, I fixed it while using an iPad and a raspberry pi (and I broke it while using a PC) | |

I'm not really, but my iPhone and iPad I got for free from work. But I also can't deny the quality and usefulness of them -- The iPad lasts forever with just bluetooth enabled (which I use to connect to the pi for a desktop and to a keyboard), so it makes a great mobile workstation for me.
One of these days I'll buy an android phone for myself, because I'm a fan of actually being able to control my own devices and installing whatever I want. | |
