Dang...I almost hit a deer as well coming home from the Palladium. Honestly not sure how i didnt hit it. This is what stops me from getting a motorcycle. You could do everything right and still get hit or hit something. | |

Yeah I dont mind FF. I mean this is how league play was. This is how real life is.
Had 17 vs 9 last night lol. And the team with 17 was getting smoked. | |

This is why I enjoy it so much. It does change the dynamic, and makes you play a bit smarter. Sure, I chuck grenades and place detpacks... but you have to do it smartly.
Hell, I even sniped for a round last night. Got a few lucky shots that I think I'm going to end up posting on YouTube. Popped a Medic in mid flight, and shocked myself. Came out of it with less kills than deaths, but that's because Pepperjack had a ping of fucking *8*. Motherfucker must be renting an apartment in the same building the server is housed in. | |

Never used a screen with a high refresh rate. Pretty much stayed at 60Hz for gaming all my life. Then a few months ago I went from 60 to 75Hz, a minor improvement, and my sniper game improved significantly. | |

I don't mind FF, although I prefer it off. I do hate having a teammate walk in front of me just as I fire a rocket & when I toss down a nail grenade and a second later an ally jumps down next to it. Sometimes they just sit there looking it it like its a pet cat or something. One game a while back I had someone jump down to one of my nail grenades, look at it, then start shooting at it until it blew up on him. He did that multiple times in the game. | |

Thanks all. Don't wanna hijack the thread with personal stuff but yes my old man is OK. No more motorcycle for him, though. It'll take him a little while to recover from his upper body injuries but he's alive and kicking. Helmet saved his life too. Be sure to always wear your helmets, kiddos. | |

I heard him reference some kind of experimental treatment or something weird last week when I was on but I had no idea what he was talking about because I just joined.

The other thread is updated, he's had heart trouble over the last month or two, and with the snails pace that the Canadian healthcare moves it has been pretty scary. A couple of us have been keeping in touch with him on how he is doing. They finally did tests last week and he should have had results yesterday. | |
