Does it drop if you change your weapon? I feel like I always get nailed as engy exiting main spawn (no primes, but maybe active player was near?) and the only thing I've done is switch to shotty from rail gun.
Also, regarding LG's ongoing legal drama (https://www.lunaticrage.com/drippy/forum.php?a=vt&f=2&t=1824...), what exactly happened with that EMP explosion? The demo died (or was it a scout, I can never tell with newmodels)? But he was just out of respawn, so he lost spawn protection by being near the engy? Curious the engy didn't die too. | |

I too am curious how the engie didnt die after getting a grenade thrown at him, shot 3 times and then EMPed.
This engineer is like 50 cent or something.
It was a sniper that got killed. I couldnt tell if LG died from autokill spawn protection or if the turret got him. | |

The engineer did get hit by the regular grenade before he lost spawn protection, but it was for 0 damage so effectively nothing happened.
Looks like he fired after that, lost spawn protection, and caused the guy spawning to also lose protection from being near. LG was killed by the spawn turret.
LG's EMP did kill the sniper that spawned, but not the engineer.
I'm not sure if you lose spawn protection from switching weapons -- you might if you use the fire button to do it, since thats a thing the server looks for.
