Grew up kind of isolated so I remember making the cats medicine go down by my dad would just cram open the cats mouths and get ur fingers in there like a speculum and cram the pill down the back of the cats throat and hold the muzzle shut for like a few minutes until the cat swallows and this also was my sex ed class. | |

Growing up my sister had to force a pill into our cats mouth once, I remember thinking fuck that! Hard to get a cat to do anything. Also I can't believe some people brush the teeth of their dogs.
Once a month I give our two cats their flea medicine in powder form. I literally sing "Just a spoonful of Tuna helps the medicine go down" while mixing their medicine in with a can of tuna fish. The smell of fish masks any unpleasant tastes. | |
