Last I checked my WL is 2ish. I usually join with my wife so I assume her WL is similar to mine. But lately I have been getting less people on my team and less experienced people on top of that while the opposing team has at least double the players and players with more experience. Today was bad. I even did a control experiment with fade taking over basement D and he got overran and RQ. So is it my WL that is preventing me from getting decent people half of the time or is it something else or has nothing changed? It is starting to get not fun when I have to play almost every game at 130% when sometimes I just want to chill. Like even my kills reflect how much work I have to do to stay on D and kill. And to those wondering why I don't start as O, it is because the balancer doesn't let me and I know if I leave the basement then someone gets the flag. So its like I am stuck.
Edit- to those that say it’s fine, can you state why? I feel most here are usually in the team with more people or have cushions on their team where I don’t usually. I feel it’s easy to speak form the other side where most don’t experience what I and a few others do.

Bruh, I literally had the same thought the other day. I dunno if it's recency bias or what but I've noticed it being extra frustrating lately.
Being halfway through a match with a 1:1 KDR and 3/4 of the team being less than 2 digit frags while being down at least one cap and then someone having the gall to ask if anyone is on O makes me not want to play. Then again, I am likely expecting too much from the majority of the D2F player base.

My solution is to play at OST once or twice every 2 weeks and maybe keep it at that. | |

My WL is like 1.7:1 and this happens to me.
Most of the time I am on and you are on I see the reverse happening where it sticks better players on your team. On new matches we usually join at the same time and auto so are never on the same team.
You mention having fade on your team. I think his balancer ranking must be high because I have also noticed being on his team the balancer gets extra lame towards me. | |
