Edit - not to mention Melissa’s SG at 830pm est fired one shot and stopped shooting and a slow ass demo just walked on in took the flag but thank god I was there to stop him. What’s going on? | |

Yesterday's lag on Saturday was quite terrible. It's inconsistent however, some days it's not bad at all. Yesterday a scout was dodging left and right within crowbar range in the spiral and I couldn't hit him with my rpg as a soldier. Typically the closer you are the easier it gets but that was wild.
I look at Xeno spin around with crazy good accuracy with his rpg, however seeing his extra low ping that makes sense. Yesterday I fought as soldier vs soldier on 1999 and he reacted with crazy good accuracy with his rpg too just like Xeno and his ping was 90.
I don't think I'm the only one with rpg lag on Drippy's during certain days. I've seen others within a fairly close proximity to one another "guess" where the other person will be 1/5th of a second later & fail 3-4 rockets in a row with their 60-90 ping too. These are not 1st time players either. On 1999 or OST players with a 60ping can sometimes rpg someone midair. I recognize my ping is worse on Drippys compared to 1999 but 12-16ms slower isn't an accurate description whatsoever from what I am seeing. | |

ex_interp set to a lower value seems to fix the lag to an extent, and even raising it back up temporarily fixes it. My guess is the 30 snapshots per second the server is supposed to send to clients is significantly lower some days. This is due to an overloaded server OR clients not sending enough information to the server either through a "rate" too low or their "cl_cmdrate" is too low.
I saw an engineer yesterday literally teleport several frames & his ping wasn't that bad either.
I'm on a 2000Mbps internet with a corded ethernet connection, other servers slightly higher or lower ping don't have this issue. Some days it is absolutely great or fine on Drippys so I don't know. | |

After not playing for 12+ years I'm not even close to what I was- does D2F's team balancer see me as a demon who should carry a team? | |

I've noticed the lag too and I've only played a couple of times in the last few months.
My problems would be unrelated to Xenos though I live in a first world country with a gigabit connection so its not to do with the crappy third world Mexican internet. | |

Starting to get convinced about my hypothesis cause someone name mighty mouse was one and i heard he was good dealt normal damage to me. I even purposely walked into a rpg head on. But mostly everyone else did more damage. So am I nerfed against certain players only? | |

Drippys is lighting fast after the patch today, like wow. Feels just as fast if not slightly faster then 1999.
My crosshairs pack I downloaded are missing after the patch, was surprised to see the default tfc crosshairs.
Either valve made some amazing changes to their code or maybe some of the drippy server plugins are disabled at the moment. | |

Just curious... Do you use the addons folder (tfc_addons I guess?) for custom resources or do you just overwrite what's in the standard tfc folder? | |
