Trump Won: My 2025 predictions
Early 2025
I think Bitcoin will be $90-$100k this January, under the assumption that Trump/Musk will set crypto friendly policies & that crypto can't lose until 2029. Stock market will be high, under the assumption that Trump/Elon won't change much during his term. Stock markets looking great & the January holiday season covid yet again was very low.
Summer 2025
Stock market will crash as many policies are changed, three letter federal agencies dismantled (some of the 450 total that exist), and government wasted spending programs suddenly ending results in many shell companies/corporations dying overnight. Bitcoin will crash significantly, failing to make new highs at or above $100k until the next halving date in 2028.
Now by late summer, the Democrats are pointing and saying "SEE! Trump caused the market issues! It's the end of the world!" Crypto fans are angry that they didn't get rich, even though Trump & Musk are laying long-term foundations for massive crypto use cases in America. Impatient Crypto investors (short fuse gamblers) begin to curse the name of Trump.
Fall or Winter of 2025
With government spending having a completely different structure now, the stock market having a massive rally going UP UP UP since Summer and everyone is getting happy again with wealth. But we can't have the majority of people happy due to the actions of Trump, so a new Covid19 variant mutation being grown in a lab gets released and a blue vs red lockdowns occurs. This is where the media are locked & loaded, ready to shootdown whatever Trump has to say. | |

2025 until 2028
Elon Musk gets attacked in the media & by hollywood
It becomes unpopular to drive electric cars, because you'll be supporting Trump culture. Being interested in space or rockets will become extremely nerdy & uncool in movies/hollywood. Automation will be considered the job killing technology that Trump promotes, and that the 2028 Democrat president will vow to fight against.
Joe Rogan will get attacked in the media & by hollywood
It becomes unpopular for hollywood actors/actresses to be interviewed. Their careers threatened if they make an appearance on any neutral or slightly right leaning network.
Illegal Immigrants get flown into America 2024-2028
As the Trump administration continues to build the wall & enforce better border protections, the democrats continue to fly in illegal immigrants all across America. As most of them clearly vote for a democrat for president, this will ensure the next 2028 nominee will win. So long as these efforts go unnoticed in the news just like in 2024, this will have another benefit to the Democrats as they will complain late into Trumps term how uneffective his administration has been at stopping immigration & crime.
Trump will reduce regulations allowing for major growth across America. Elon will eliminate $2 trillion in government spending, saving the country from going bankrupt. Together they will lay foundations to make America crypto & AI friendly, laying the groundwork to be a direct competitor for an ambitious China in the future. Enormous boosts in efficiency as obsolete government workers are replaced by simple software that never makes mistakes or steals for personal wealth. All of this is overlooked in the future however, as the news cherrypicks Trump's odd humor making him out to become crazier the older he gets alongside with reporting how immigration continues to get worse. Hollywood & most news networks will continue to demonize Trump, Elon, AI, Automation & Crypto, and insist anything good that came since 2025 was not due to Trump somehow. | |

I've been interested in crypto since around 2012. However, 95-98% of the people are absolute morons & see crypto as nothing more than a get rich or get broke FAST option. A digital gambling based on trends, rather then genius technological frameworks that have enormous potential for the future across nearly every industry. A trustless protocol with zero centralization, due to the programming the owners can't steal wealth or have manipulations like you can with typical bonds/markets/cash projects.
This morning DOGE coin is up 23%, that's 3x more than Bitcoin's 7% rally since yesterday. Freaking idiots assuming that the image behind this altcoin, Elon Musk, is somehow going to incorporate this coin into something big even though it's without a real roadmap. Elon simply has an enormous number of these coins, he's not the developer or anything. People are ready to gamble with trends & feelings.
MT Gox payback deadline was pushed back from oct 31st 2024 to oct 31st 2025, with still over 45,000 bitcoins yet to be given back from the 2014 hack. Most people incorrectly assume the 140,000-96,000 bitcoins that were total short-term coins were ALL distributed & the threat of a crash is over which is wrong.
With a divided country in the next 2-3 months, large parts of the country are ready to see America Succeed or Burn so that they can yell "TOLD YOU SO!". I have a feeling a large number of people are impatiently expecting something BIG to happen soon. | |

Anyways... If Trump goes through with the broad tariffs he's been promising, brace yourselves for the return of inflation, and the commensurate interest rate increases. Today's rate cut was .25 bp but there may not be any more decreases once Trump assumes office. We'll see what Powell does at the December meeting. | |
