I would never put it past someone from Florida to be guilty of debauchery — and in this case, a politician guilty of statutory rape or trafficking.
I don't want anyone to be elevated above prosecution of crimes like that. But I also think back to Schumer's "They have six ways from Sunday to get back at you," referring to the intelligence agencies.
If he's guilty, he's guilty. But he could also be targeted for running afoul of the military-industrial complex. | |
