you just typed a bunch of words that don't change anything i said
cannot literally means incapable of. for example, if i was not playing the game, i cannot cap because i am not playing the game
will not cap does not mean "cannot cap"
will not can be interpreted as "you will not cap against me because i'm better than you". it can also be interpreted as "i will not cap because i'm not doing what's necessary to cap"
i'm an engineer, i speak literally because the world of technology is literal. if i write a line of code and it doesn't do what i want it to do, i don't throw my hands up in frustration and say "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!". i change my syntax or content to align with the logic of the program. say what you mean and mean what you say

Most O Players will snipe after they have a comfortable lead. Or, they'll snipe as a way to not go O when there's no hope. I've done both. I've seen others do it, too. Upset, Rupp, etc. It is what it is. Sniping is a game within a game.
But people who play as sniper for the majority of their gameplay, I don't correlate it with not capping. People play how they want.
My only real annoyance is when a team is down a cap or two, and half the team are snipers. Or when a match starts and most of the team are snipers and refuse to change class for the betterment of the team. There's team-oriented snipers, and then there's non-team snipers. | |

I hate it when we're down several caps and there are several players refusing to switch from sniper to something else. Except Statix and dullrazor. They can snipe whenever and wherever they want if they're on my team. But if they're on the other team they need to leave my tele alone. This probably applies to Yeargan too come to think of it. | |

It should be noted that lots of those players hop back to offense at a moments notice. I've done so plenty of times.. switching to sniper and a few minutes later the other team starts to leave the base more and more.. hop back to medic and pull a flag to box room. Works out more often then you think, especially when you team up with others on your team and coordinate it. One of many reasons why my w/l ratio is GOATED. | |
