That said, the story sounds fishy, and since they don't name the person who was rejected, I have my doubts. You are telling me that these officials took the time to look into his phone or computer to find something? And it's the French government saying all of this? I also like how in your link, the guy accuses the American media of not wanting to cover it...you know, the same media that hates Trump? So, are you in agreement with this X user that our media is fake news?

so a mix of unreliable sources, compounded with being european sources
nothing from

abc
any other major media outlet in the US (regardless of reliability/bias)
and of course, with not a lot of details

So, you claim we're in the echo chamber, but you're posting links to your echo chamber. There is still no credible information in the articles if the researcher remains unnamed, and we're supposed to take the word of some French diplomat who hates Trump and the US anyway.
Pics (proof) or it didn't happen. Philippe Baptiste, utilizing anonymous sources and an unnamed researcher, gives no validity to the claim. Even your precious left leaning Snopes can't confirm it.

I like how they stopped caring about the environment and are torching Tesla's now. That HAS to be amazing for the environment. Plus, that's totally the same as boycotting Bud Light or Target...totally.
Next, they're going to completely turn against EV's, and 'green' energy because of Musk.
No wonder democrats are hovering around a 27% approval rating.

You're a cop and have been for years. You should know that there are certain parts of the Constitution that apply to non-citizens (documented or not) as well as citizens.
As a civilian, I'm not sure which ones apply which way, being honest... but YOU should.
To be fair, though... "Civil Asset Forfeiture" has been challenged as a violation of the 4th Amendment.... yet still remains valid but dealt with on a case by case basis. | |

The 4th Amendment is literally the bedrock of policing. You deal with search and seizure daily and it applies to ANYONE within the United States. You also swear an oath to it when you get your badge. Stunning to advocate for it being abrogated.
That being said, I think the involved party was contacted at a port of entry from a flight where there are 4th Amendment exceptions.
