Here, I'll get away from absolutes: Democrats nearly always condemn political violence, regardless of the hurt part. Republicans fall short, having a very spotty record and too often remaining silent when it happens to democrats and unequally apportioning blame to the other side when it happens to them.

The point is, people need to condemn political violence whenever it happens, not just when it's politically expedient and keeps them in power. Like I said, welcome to the party pal. Our politicians polices have created this world, now they're discovering they have to live in it too. | |

The irony I spoke of is exactly the hypocrisy you mention. Here's the question that was posed to me, so I edited it and will pose it to you...
"just curious, you use a lot of blanket terminology...do you genuinely believe "my side" as in, the entirety of the people that are democrats are this way? do you genuinely believe that NOBODY on the left is not celebrating?"
This was a horrific, criminal act. There is nothing worse than having to look at someone's next of kin in the eyes and tell them that the most important part of their life is gone forever. It turns your guts inside out watching that torment and anguish wash across their face.
As I said before regarding my "side", I'm an Independent. I make up my own mind. Nothing has pushed me further from the right than Trump, his administration and his attacks on the Constitution. Trump has taken political rhetoric to places never before seen, and people mimic this behavior. I hope beyond hope for a return to moderate candidates and stable, reliable government. This won't be back in my lifetime.

as a former law enforcement person, i'd sort of expect you to be far more understanding of the importance of answering a "yes or no question" with a "yes or no answer"
i never made "sides" possessive. I identified "the right" side the same way as you did, and i never used "my" anywhere, but here you are, framing this now as a hypothetical question reversal back on me but this is NOT WHAT I ASKED

I plan to respond to a lot of the posts but it’s gonna be a spoofer/ snips length post to respond to a lot of what you losers posted.
But it seems it’s a 22 year old white kid who grew up in a MAGA family. The most so far I saw (idk if Utah records are as detailed as NJ for voting stuf and party affiliation), is that he is a registered independent which I’ve seen independents vote for and support and embrace MAGA to hide it from others to not be scrutinized so it’s still up in the air what his actual affiliation is but doesn’t same to fit the narrative most here want to belie that’s it’s a liberal who took a rifle and shot someone. If there is gonna be a civil war it’s gonna be amongst the Republican Party and not what most fantasized here in their wet dreams. Oddly enough I’m replaying the command and conquer series and it’s always the bad guy faction that is always in a civil war and never the good guys. Besides that I did find it nerdy he posted the combo to a weapon from Helldivers 2 on the casing which I’ve been recently playing with friends. | |

If you want to be reminded that there are extremist leftists who want a civil war and endorse violence for political purposes, just spend a few hours scrolling the news subreddits. They occupy about 80% of the comment space there. | |
Of course I know that there are extreme leftists that want the same thing. Do I think either bunch represents the majority of either Republicans or Democrats? Not in the least. They are an overly vocal minority.
I say round them all up and let them live out their dream in a Thunderdome construct until there's only one left. Let's be honest, once "the other side" has been eliminated, the side that's remaining will start to disagree about something and then "eat themselves".
The last one standing..... give him/her/them/they/whatever a Championship belt... them pop their domepiece with a shotgun.
