Just quit.Eight years ago I quit cold turkey after smoking for thirty years. You will be much happier without that addiction.I was smoking up to three packs a day at one point. The only thing is...you really have to be ready to quit,or it's just a waste of energy.

Disgusting shit. I can't believe people still smoke in 2014.

I just do cigars and pipe tobacco (with Scotch, of course), not really sure on vapes unless you're talking about the green stuff. In that, the Volcano reigns supreme.

I started vaping a year or so ago after trying to go cold turkey. I was a miserable bastard (more so than usual) and really hard to be around. I took on Blu ecigs and it was enough to draw my fangs in. But, all in all, it is just a bridge to my next cig. Don't take up vaping thinking you will quit, although I know it happens.
I chose Blu because of the actual cigarette size, the taste, and it all comes contained in a cartridge rather than tanks, cartomizers, etc.. I knew I'd probably lose interest if I had to do all that filling and stuff.
I may do it anyway after being able to use a friend's apparatus. A lot better delivery and more satisfying. I could envision myself quitting. He did.
Now for the rant: Fucking city ordinances and business banning ecig use! I knew all along that second-hand smoke shit was just a ruse and this proves it. Just a bunch of fuckers who don't think someone else should engage in any activity they don't personally enjoy. Anyone thats going to whine about second hand water vapor needs to be bitch slapped to the ground.

It's actually the vaporized propylene glycol. Funny thing is... PG is also what is used to make artificial fog. It's the same formula, same ratio and everything. As some of the previous post stated, I never had a problem with smoking and I indeed quit cold turkey as well back in 2005. Dip has been my weakness, and I will honestly say that since I started "vaping" I have not had the urge to pop a pinch period. I didn't go the Blu route though, I actually like and prefer the idea that I control the ratio of VG/PG, nicotine sat, and most importantly flavor. And to be honest there too, I completely expected for my initial expense to be over $100. In all reality I went with a starter kit which cost me $40 and a 30ml bottle of e-juice. So all in all my initial purchase was around $65. Now excluding hardware, a 50ml bottle of e-juice costs me about $35 and will last me about a month, and that's filling up my tank once a day. I also rebuild my chambers so that saves me some money. Chambers will generally run around $4-5 and depending on the frequency that you puff may last anywhere from a week to a month with proper care.

I usually mix it up but right now I'm loving Laphroaig 10. It's the only way I can cap the flag.

Thumbs up for the Laphroaig, good stuff. Currently working on a bottle of Laphroaig PX Cask, with a bottle of Balvenie 16 and Lagavulin 16 waiting in the wings :-)

Another reason I chose it to start | | That's probably not completely accurate, using water whether out of the tap or distilled would create a hot vape and would also be a really great environment for microbial growth. There is more water vapor in what is exhaled but that is because VG/PG are both humectants, they draw moisture out of your mouth, throat and lungs. VG/PG really don't get completely metabolized in your lungs so they are also exhaled. But can you see the ad execs trying to explain all that to the lay person? Nope let's just go with water vapor. Hey, if you're interested in owning Blu, you should check out this link: http://www.forbes.com/sites/briansolomon/2014/07/15/reynolds...

It's a nice set-up, I prefer the smaller circumference tanks that match the diameter of the battery personally. What resistance coil do you have, if it's something around 2.4 you might want to go down to a 1.8 ohm. I found that flavor is better at that resistance but vapor production is a bit less. Also you can up your VG a bit and that will also aide in making it taste a little better. Right now I have 6 different juices, all are at different VG/PG and nic levels. I have 3 tanks so I can change them out depending on what I'm in the mood for. I have found that personally I prefer the sweet juices most of the time. I have found a few soda flavored ones that aren't too bad. I definitely don't like the mentholated juices (they kick you in the mouth pretty hard!)

my coil is 2.0 ohm. Seems about right, particularly with voltage adjuster making a little less of an issue.
Check out Johnson Creek ejuice. They make (or did) make the juices for Blu. It was their Domestic that really hooked me. All VG. I couldn't believe that, in the entire vape shop, they couldnt come close to it.

Lol I was gonna post a link to their site too! I had been going to a shop in College Station before I moved, they had a huge selection and were really great. The first thing I did when I moved was to reach out to a few of the local shops here and I had a conversation on facebook with the owner and when I went in he gave me a chamber and more silica and kanthol than I'll ever use (for free). I try to buy local and all that good stuff so any hardware that I might need will definitely come from his shop (provided he has it or can get it pretty reasonably). However with that being said, he just doesn't have the selection of juice that my old store has. I've even looked up other places and very few have the selection and the options so since I usually get a months supply of juice at a time it won't be a big deal to drive there. Especially when college football season begins since I try to go to a Texas A & M game every month.
