I know there's a bunch of other musicians that play at Drippy's. just curious as to what your style is, and if you have any recordings with a band that you could post? Also, what equipment you use? I've been in an out of metal bands for years, which I understand isn't everyone's cup of tea. But I've always done electronic music on the side as well. Currently recording some tracks with my synths for an ambient /movie soundtrack type release.

I used to play in high school, played hard rock, punk, and a little bit of metal (I wasn't too big into metal at the time.) I haven't picked up my guitar in years. Would you believe I have an Ibanez Jem and a Marshall JCM800 half stack? I got them because it was such a good deal with a friend from work. They've honestly just been collecting dust the past few years, I should probably just sell them. | |

I played drums in the jazz band in high school. We were pretty good. Toured Europe between my Junior and Senior year for three weeks. I pretty much quite played when I went to college and picked up TFC instead. Still have my set. Pearl Export pro. Hoping one day my kids would want to play. | |

Wish I would have stuck with it, but wasn't good enough to play in college. Don't tell my wife, but looking back it was probably the best three weeks in my life. | |

I liked that music you posted Illusion. Thanks for letting us hear it. It does sound like a soundtrack for a John Carpenter movie. I could visualize some of the desert scenes in Vampires.
As to music, I play the banjo, but no need to be afraid if you heard me playing while you are rafting down the river.....I'm more a Steve Martin type of player. | |

Hard rock/Metal guitarist/vocalist here for over 15yrs now. Vocal style is a mix of the first 2 albums by Mudvayne with a touch of iowa by slipknot. I love aggressive deep verses with melodic chorus's. Guitar style influenced by mudvayne/slipknot/metallica/disturbed etc...
No recordings right now but I MAY one day lol | |

Banjo is amazing. I've always loved the sound of it.. Bug fan of Earl Scruggs, Bela Fleck, etc. I've got a mandolin that I screw around on, but it takes a little to get used to because I'm so used to playing guitar. Watching a bluegrass live performance is something else. | |
