Just keeps getting rougher. Over night, Chyna from WWE fame bit the big one, and now Prince kicks off.

Why do I think AC/DC bringing Axl Rose in as their lead singer has started to collapse the universe?

    RIP Price.

When the Price is right, what can you do?

Do you mean PRINCE

In my experience and opinion, one of the all time best musicians ever.

Shit..... thanks Moose. Totally missed that. :/

And yes, Prince was an amazing musician. Unlike many of his peers, you never heard outrageous stories of stupidity and assholishness about him.

I wasn't aware Brian Johnson left the band. Then again I haven't kept up with them in years. Axl rose doesn't seem like a really good choice.

From what I heard, Brian Johnson is going deaf, so he is taking a temporary leave of absence. Axl is just filling in to finish the current tour they are on.

Thing is, it's probably not "temporary".... especially since hearing loss of this type isn't "temporary". I'm really hoping that once these shows are over, they hang it up.

I've heard a lot of people saying that Axl isn't doing a bad job, but I haven't actually lowered myself to giving it a listen. I won't lie as to why: I like both AC/DC and GnR.... but I don't want to taint what either has done by listening to this kind of thing.

Most of the original band is out of it.... and those guys remaining are getting up there. Just call it a career already, rather than tarnish the legacy.

Much like David Gilmour and Nick Mason still toured as Pink Floyd without Rick Wright, now don't get me wrong... I absolutely Love Floyd, from the Barrett era up to when Rick Wright passed. Argue with me if you like, but Waters being out... Floyd still sounded like Floyd. But Floyd wasn't the same without Wright.
Steve Lukather said it best when he said Toto wasn't Toto without a Porcaro.
