So I started a new job today. Still with my company doing pharmacy but I transferred from retail pharmacy to specialty pharmacy because the PCs at retail did not use a Windows OS (thank you and le fu Wisdom). I'm happy to say the PCs at specialty do use Windows and I am very happy. They put us in a refresher training course for those pharmacy technicians that transferred from retail to get used to the specialty PC systems and the first thing I do when I log in is place my hands on the WASD keys and grip the mouse like the one I have from home and the instructor says "Looks like we have a PC gamer here today" and chuckles and walks back to her desk to start class. I was wondering if anyone here who works with a computer for their job has any habits that they do when they playing while on the job.

Sounds like a subtle flirt from her, if you ask me.

I work from home now on Wednesdays and Fridays and I sometimes play in Drip's while on the clock. The only habit I have for that is stretching my damn fingers and wrists because I think I'm getting arthritis =/. But I have two monitors at home and can play TFC on one monitor while I work on the other. Would NOT recommend that.. It's dangerous.

A subtle flirt from someone who flirts with every guy at work.

^ was just responding cynically to that.

.. I had debated at first if I should post with Illusion's quotes, but then decided to not quote because there were only about three or four posts on the thread anyways. Lol, great job at paying attention to the thread you posted, Xeno. :p

In reality, she might actually like you. Me personally, however, I would go for a girl who is teaching Linux programs as opposed to a girl teaching Microsoft. But, that is just my own taste. xD

The point of Xeno's post is that since you are most likely not involved in the classroom setting, then it is very unlikely that you have a basis to make such a comment. Ergo, his sly question. Besides she has thick ankles.

Eh, maybe it wasn't a flirt. Maybe it was. What matters is that it was actually Ralphy in disguise.

Nah..the lady is married with kids. Her husband is in IT and he games on his days off for "man" time. He's got access to a beta of some game (probably Battlefield 1... lucky POS) and she recognizes that keyboard and mouse stance as a do not disturb lol. Plus I have a girlfriend of now 5 years + now. Since we're both starting our PhD programs in a couple days , we decided that we would get married a couple years after we graduate. So that means I need to get a ring xD. But enough of that. Jesus idk what your trying to say but I saw Linux in your post and my anger and hatred went through the roof so I'll golden shower over you like I did to Walnuts via a hunt for no apparent reason.......btw gaba got a new dog. It's a nice dog.

I use a nailgun at work. I also talk to myself and make sound effects.

    Ah internet, I love thee.

Started off "any other funny gaming things", ended up "she's just not that into you". ;^)

Used to have the Fallout 3 model on my desk when I worked at a Uni.

One oddity I have, is that at work, I mouse and keyboard "right-handed", but I only ever game "left-handed". Logic has always been to minimise RSI from the amount of mouse use I get.

I am on the phone at least half the time I am playing during the day. This requires me to keep my volume only high enough to still hear priming beeps. Also, can't use a mic.

Which reminds me...I finally decide to get a mic, did, and found that this new lappy, a Lenovo Ideapad, requires a "combination" jack instead of separate mic/output jacks. Don't even know where to start.
