Being jealous of moose poop's improperly placed thread on "cinema", I thought I would like to hear about everyone's favorite TV series so I started this thread in its *proper* forum because I'm always mindful of protocol, being a Model Player and all. I expanded this to your favorite 10, since there seems to be a dozen that start each year for each film released. Please, no "reality" shows.

I get to start because its my thread and there's nothing you can do about it.

1. The Sopranos (of course)

2. Deadwood

3. Breaking Bad

4. The Rockford Files

5. OZ

6. The West Wing

7. Andy of Mayberry

8. The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin

9. Twin Peaks

10. Seinfeld

I can't wait to see you two in the server together. Moose on one team, Walnuts on the other..... Pyro vs Demo......... Should be EPIC!

Anyway......

In no particular order:

Star Trek(all of them)
Sid and Marty Kroft Supershow
Lancelot Link; Secret Chimp
Oz
Battlestar Galactica(1978)
The F Word
Kitchen Nightmares UK
Dr. Who
The Young Ones
Bottom

Yeah, I know you said no "Reality" shows..... too bad. Those two are glorious, and not "combative bullshit" like American "reality" shows. The F Word has no American counterpart(thank fuck for that), and the US version of Kitchen Nightmares is a joke. Too much "editing for maximum drama". The UK version(which is the original version) focuses on what is actually wrong with the business, rather than a glorified make-over show. If you haven't seen it, I recommend it. A million times better than the US version.

Drippy, is there any way you could bump up my post into first position before Walnuts?

Terriers is pretty much the definitive one-season wonder, IMO, knocking out stuff like Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, Brisco County Jr., etc.

It's so low key (the total opposite of all the shows out there trying to be as edgy and epic as possible), but so effing charming. The charisma between all of its characters is unreal. Practically everyone that has watched it ended up falling in love with it.

The problem was that practically no one watched it when it originally aired (hipster mode: I did, though XD) because of terrible marketing. Everyone thought the show was literally about dogs; it's a metaphor, people... So it was regrettably cancelled after its first season, shattering the hearts of everyone involved. :{

Good news is that it's on Netflix and is only 13 episodes, so it's easily watchable and has gained something of a cult status since its original run. There's occasional talk about it being brought back, but it's probably just a pipe dream after all this time. =/

The trailer doesn't really do it proper justice, but: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tkb8h5P3-zw

wow. glad i did this thread. a lot of mentions bring back good feelings watching that stuff and I can't believe I didn't even think of some of them.

The Prisoner...holy shit, was that a mind fuck or what?

And what about that fuckin lunatic man-child Iggy? Left off The Banana Splits.

I like how spoof broke it up.

As an honorable mention, I want to give a shout out to all those local affiliate programs that gave us The Three Stooges shorts.
