My Garlic Mash is a family favorite (I do a variation of the Stinking Rose recipe using heavy-cream instead of milk and add rosemary). I love Green Bean Casserole, Stuffing, Yams, hell, I love Thanksgiving food in general :)

When Rose and I first met, she had told me about this AMAZING Mac and Cheese recipe she had. Given that I've got the palette of a 7 year old, I was a bit skeptical.

However, she made it for Christmas dinner, and invited me to come over and check it out.

I ended up eating 3 VERY full plates of it. I mean, full sized dinner plates, stacked a good 3" high, and all the way to the rim.

Yeah, I liked it that much. The following year, she taught me how to make it. The ingredients aren't exactly cheap, but fuck me is it worth it!

If you want, I'll detail how to make it.

Its not mine, its my mothers. Roasted brussel sprouts and bacon.

*EDIT* Shit I cant come in here with brussel sprout dish, even if it has bacon.

Portuguese stuffing. Another mother recipe. So good. Only better stuffing than that is seafood stuffing with shrimp, lobster, scallops, quahogs, yum yum.

Scallops wrapped in bacon, clams casino, shrimp cocktail all acceptable appetizers.

Not exactly thanksgiving, but these buffalo chicken eggrolls I make are like crack. I made 6 dozen for our house warming party 4 years ago and they all went.

Every party I go to they are the first dish to go completely.

Its actually very simple. I start by slow-cooking chicken breast in a crockpot on low for 8 hours with a bottle of franks red hot wing sauce. I use extra hot cause I like to poop blood.

The next morning after it cools a little I put some gloves on a get personal, some use forks or some brass knuckle with spikes on it made specifically for shredding, but nothing beats the hand shred. See with a hand shred you can take out all the tendons and fat left over, all things that dont taste good and give bad consistency.

In goes 8oz cream cheese per lb of chicken (I use greek cream cheese once and liked it, so I use that going forward, it just has a tangier taste than traditional CC and it has more protein and less fat).

Mix in some franks red hot wing sauce regular and ranch dressing until you get a good tasting mix that is paste like. If I had to guess id say 3tbsp sauce to 1tbsp ranch per 1lb of chicken. But this is cooking, science is not needed.

I then scoop about 2 tbsp into an eggroll wrapper and roll them up with some water around the edges for a good seal.

Fry right away. Ive pre-made them before and was planning on frying the next day. There were all sorts of air pockets and made them look all bubbly when I did fry them, some of them lost some filling due to holes. Best to make and fry right away.

Nice recipe gg. Good tips on the greek cc and make now/fry now. And Frank's is good shit. I'd be tempted to throw in a little shredded cabbage for filler. Plus, I'd stick that whole chicken in that popt.
