INK was legit AF. Currents was great, but fucked up and called us Madison (we were in Grand Rapids). Fuck Wisconsin.
Escape the Fate wasn't all that, but they had two members out for some reason. This was their last show of the tour, and the singer had no fucks left....dude crowd surfed.
Cos of traffic, we missed Fame on Fire, but they did a cover of Numb (LP) to close out the show and it was pretty good.
If you ever get the chance to see Ice Nine Kills...do it. Fucking great show. To have the singer, guitar player and bass player all sing different parts, scream different parts and keep it all coherent. It was good.
Musically, they're top notch. The stage show was legit....with a little GWAR/Lizzy Borden in there with some blood spurting into the crowd. Was surprised to see that, honestly...
It was high energy and engaging. Top 10 live shows I've seen, maybe even top 5.

This band's thing is songs about horror movies. It's good...one of the bands that my kid got me into, which makes it even better.
I was going to do a techno-thrash band back in the day and call it Kill-9; then I got old. | |

What a great show. I didn't get to see Knocked Loose or Alien Weaponry. Got to Cleveland a little later than we wanted thanks to road construction in Detroit.
When we got to the Agora, there's only one way down to the floor, and it was packed AF. There was no movement.
When Gojira started, we were able to get to a spot behind the sound guy and had a really good view of the show though. The floor didn't stop moving the entire time, at the end of the show, there were a lot of fat lips, black eyes and red marks on faces. They were all smiling though.
First show requiring vaccine proof. No big deal.
I would have tweaked the setlist a little, but it was still pretty solid, only thing missing was Pray. | |
