I can only play at mechanics and motorcycles have just been a passing fancy now and then. I came across this video, however, and totally fell in love with it. It's the restoration of a Soviet 1969 Ural motorcycle. I've seen plenty of restoration videos of one sort or another, but this was just fuckin beautiful. I just wanted to share. It's long, but resist jumping to the end.

Absolutely legendary work on the rings and other parts restored here. My hat is off to you for posting this, cat. Always definitely down to see a video from other players and get the feel what cats are "about," quote unquote.

On the topic of mechanics - The sounds and the environment might seem really cool to you cats, but the potential for hearing damage, injury from accidents, and long-term injury from secondhand chemical exposure? Absolutely a risk cats and while I absolutely take my hat off to mechanics who can do the things I have to warn you cats that the life, it's not, like, 100% safe for everyone, and there are always consequences for doing what you want to do.

If you take one thing away from this post, remember that. Now more than ever, there are consequences for what you do that can last for years. Perfect example - take that girl who sent the rap video to her classmate - Here she is, three years later, thinks she's going to college and BOOM. Life stopped on a dime man. Absolutely brutal behavior and I must confess some admiration for the cold and calculating nature of the guy, but consequences are real is what it comes down to. Consequences are real.

probably one of my favorite things is, leaving just as the sun is coming up, to ride early in the morning in the mountains; the silence and the lining up the next curve was a sweet synchronicity between myself and the machine.

I watch restoration videos on youtube here and there. I'm amazed at their work. To take something that, to most of us, is dead, and bring it back from the ground up...those that can do that are truly talented (and patient).

You know what man? That's what I do mainly is I tell cats how it is, so if you're ever left wondering "What's he talking about?" I'm probably just doing that.

Should you find yourself confused, remember that I'm a cat who tells it how it is, all the time, all day, every day. No compromises or bs. Truths. Read every word carefully.

How little you know me... it's not "cultural appropriation".... because of my German bloodline, it's "Conquering and absorbing".
