UP THE IRONS!!!!!!
is it just me, but does this sound like a bad tape to tape recording off an album on a record player from across the room? like a wall of cacophony?

It's always happy when Maiden puts out new music.
2 years ago today, I was in Nashville watching Maiden destroy the Bridgestone Arena. Right about now we were pre-gaming the fuck out of it with my buddy's friends from Arkansas. Such a great time...
The Raven Age opened and, surprisingly, I liked them.

according to wikki it was Frehley's Comet https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventh_Tour_of_a_Seventh_Tour

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZAwSr7d6u4 I remember in Middle school (2000-2002), I had a History/Geography teacher who was super into rock music. This is the time where I was also really getting into shit like ACDC, Metallica, Pantera (thanks to hearing my dad jam to them).
Anyway, this one teacher used to use music to help educate us on how certain historical events impacted society so much, that a lot of people made art about them.
Enter Iron Maiden...songs like run to the hills, ace's high, paschendale...I'll never forget that guy for introducing me to Maiden. This actually gets weirder...some girls mom wrote in to the school throwing a fit for letting a history teacher "corrupt the students with rock music and messages from the other side"
LUL. At the time I just thought it was weird, but as I grew up i was like OOOOOHHHH shes one of those
Felt bad for the daughter...she had no chance
Anyway, Maiden fucking rocks. Always a good time

I like maiden a lot, but to be honest, I prefer the first few albums w/o Bruce. Most if my metal friends consider that blasphemy.
