I was actually planning on going to California next month, but thinking of cancelling. But still want to take the week off. But no idea where to go. Not a big fan of tropical areas. Perhaps Yellowstone. Always wanted to do that.

Is there a good time to go to California? Or is there always fires?
Go to ALASKA...specifically Denali...I know a guy...everything closes within the next 2 weeks....but I know a real good fine dining, and a pizza pub that would welcome your visit

here comes kyree's edits
The fine dining is closed as of yesterday...BUT...Panorama Pizza Pub is still open...it's worth the trip..my Buddy DJ makes these pies that are worth the 2.5 hour trip from either Anchorage or Fairbanks...literally half way between the 2

I've been to Alaska already. It was on a cruise though. Id like to go back there not on a cruise.

I went to Skagway, Juneau, Glacier Bay. Was supposed to stop at Ketchikan, but the ship couldn't port because the seas were too rough. This was 8 years ago in a couple weeks. Crazy how fast time flies.

See Moose walking across main roads with frost on their chins...the cruises aren't all inclusive imo

Was up in your area Ky, over the weekend. Before you say, WTF... no time. I had to go look at stuff up in the Duvall area then we went on an overnight river float on the Skagit flew out the next morning, but I did think of you when we did a Tuscan chicken in a wrought iron over a fire.
