Poll: What faith?
Christianity - Catholic (9%)
Judaism (9%)
Christian - Protestant / Other (26%)
Hinduism (4%)
Buddhism (4%)
Pagan/Wicca/Other (13%)
Islam - Sunnī, Shīʿa, or Kharijite (9%)
Atheist (26%)
Poll has ended (it ran for 7 days). 23 total votes.
Intent here is to keep it civil. I'm genuinely curious what this demographic is.
My money is on #2.
OK to remain anonymous if you feel it.

I'll start first - I was raised Catholic. Attended church til early teenage years. Got Confirmed. By the time I was confirmed, I had already started questioning God and faith. I was also in a Catholic high school at the time which made me dislike it even more. I identified as an atheist from that point on, until my late 20s or so. Now, in some ways, I'm convinced there's something more to our consciousness, yet I don't call it "God" - just something we can't explain yet.
I guess I would have to use option 7 for me these days.

Yes, no more. I had heard tuition skyrocketed and the archdiocese could no longer afford it. (rumor was that all the lawsuits, etc. against the church had really taken a toll).
Also - a rumor which may have truth to it - the priest while I went was later said to have performed some odious acts and has since now relocated to the DC area to do real estate. Not going to lie in that a lot of the stuff that came out about the church and its priests was also a big turnoff.

Catholic School story time - I once knew a kid who got in trouble for saying he had a piece of Jesus caught in this teeth after eating the eucharist wafer. Not sure why, it's 'the body of Christ.' I thought it was funny.

Also, it was mandatory to take a Religion class every year. One time Junior year, the teacher threw a student out for repeatedly asking "If God Created the Universe, what created God."

Perhaps the most awkward moment of catholic school was when part of the Priests' sermon was centered around masturbation being a sin. As you can imagine, a high school gym full of 16 year old kids burst out in laughter. It was an absolute failure of a sermon and I wish it was on video.

They used to pack us into the gym like sardines and it would get so hot in there that multiple people would pass out. No ventilation. One kid even broke his arm by falling down the bleachers. Weird shit.

    Trinity, 5 solas, TUILP

Also, the 1689 London confession is a very good statement of faith. Of course, it is not Scripture; which is the Bible alone. But, I still like the part about 'justification by faith.'
