As I write this from the airport waiting for my flight back to the USA, I wanted to say thank you drippy for keeping this server alive, and thank you to the vast number of people that play here to keep this server going. A week ago melissa and I tied the knot and are officially married. I never would have ever guessed I’d find my wife on a game server that’s old enough to have gotten its masters degree. I haven’t played here since the beginning but have played at D2F when wanting a break from battlefield games, then in 2012 when my brother passed away I found comfort playing here to get over his death, and now I have met my future wife. I’m eternally grateful D2F exists and hope it still will many years to come. Will shoot over a server donation as soon as I’m state side.

How did this come about? Was she impressed with your soldier skills? My dream/hope in high school was to meet a girl that played counter-strike. Very happy for you guys.
