Okay, long story short, she tried her hand at breeding Pekingese puppies, and found out it wasn't as easy as she thought. My wife and I had wanted a female puppy to raise, but my sister's dog had a litter of 5 males. Since she's not going to try that again, we had our pick of the litter. So, we chose this one, and named him "Bray", after the wrestler who died last year, Bray Wyatt.
Katina and I loved the character, and it was quite a shock when he died so unexpectedly (not to mention young), especially since it was a heart related issue.... and Katina is also someone who was born with a defective heart.
Bray is 6 months old, and was neutered (like Gaba should be) a few days ago. He's still adapting to his new home... but he seems to have bonded quite well with Katina.
You know what they say..... "Happy wife, happy life". She's happy with that little knock-eyed fucker, and to be honest, I love the little shit, as well. He's got "reverse Shawn Michaels Eye" syndrome. He's so ugly, he's cute.
