What is your favorite Type O Negative album? I almost exclusively listen to their catalogue every September and October. Curious what your fav is considering your handle is a song title of theirs!

October Rust Slow Deep and Hard Bloody Kisses Life is Killing Me
Then whatever lol. | |

I agree with this list. October Rust is their crowning achievement I think, but all albums are good on their own. Bloody Kisses is a classic. I like Slow Deep and Hard quite a bit because it's slightly reminiscent of Carnivore to me, but definitely a different sound and each song sounds different. A few music buddies and myself used to joke around about doing a cover album called Fast Shallow and Soft

We had a chance before he died to maybe get more Carnivore.
The only time I saw ToN was on the October Rust tour with Coal Chamber. Was a great show.
Unsuccessfully Coping is overall in my top 3 songs for ToN, but that whole album is good. Love you to Death and a tie between Everyone I Love Is Dead and I don't Wanna Be Me.
And, yeah, it's that time of year...uncanny you posted this as I had ToN on shuffle at work on Monday.
edit: I remember listening to Carnivore's S/T a lot while playing The Bard's Tale on my C64 in HS. It's a fucking weird memory, but I had gone back and bought the S/T after getting Retaliation, and so I was catching up on my listens...back when you listened to the entire album start to finish.

When I can't sleep, I pop this band on. It's not over the top and clears my head. I usually put the entire collection on shuffle and zone out.

And also shows your age.

All this time I thought it was Hannah Montana's "Prelude to Agony".

| | Yeah, 87, 88 something like that. Bards Tale on the 64 was great, but I couldn't play it now lol. | |
