I can find the broken messages now, so I can see if it happens again for anyone. Sadly, the actual message data was not saved, so I can't recover them.
Apart from you, it happened to three other people - early this morning, on 8/1/12, and on 3/10/08, which is fairly bizarre.

Glad to help! Fairly confident the connection didn't drop this end - and I'm not getting random connection reset errors while browsing. And as I say, oddly when I posted, it carried through like normal, except for the missing post. Same for you Bean? | |

Unrelated to the forums but sometimes when I type a message in-game, it won't actually send. It seems mostly to do it for server commands like !glow or when I !msg people. Is that just me or does that happen to everyone? It's just particularly annoying when you !msg somebody with a long message and it doesn't actually go through. | |

also, check !name again, im pretty sure i fixed it from when you said it wasnt working before.

The only time it should do this is if it gets more than one command in a second from you... it will silently discard anything after the first.
If it missed commands like that, things would be breaking all over the server | |

I know for a fact that it doesn't always happen immediately after another. It's not uncommon for me to have to say !glow more than once to get it to register and it's the first thing I say when I join the server. Also the long messages I send as !reply or !msg definitely take more than a second to post. It must just be me. | |

I concur with frankie...I often have to retype commands to get em to work..I have always attributed this to "loss"... | |

first thing I type when I get on every time is "!regular" looking for virgins. Id say probably 70% of the time i have to type it 2-3 or 4 times before it works. | |

Thing is, that command also displays players that need more fiber in their diet, that's why I don't use it.
