even living 40 mins away from the server i still got some pretty intense lag spikes/disconnects. although my ping stayed in the 20s and that was quite nice. | |

Seems like people who were posting the current ping didn't differ much from Kansas. If that's the case for most people, no need to change. However, if the lag spikes are happening due to this FL server, than okay. Otherwise just seems like changes for too little. | |

Sadly the KC host is ruined by their policies. They basically don't want to host anything (including a game server) that might get a DDoS attack on it. Which, in the real world, is any sort of application worth hosting, but their view of it that its the hoster's fault for pissing someone off. I've since found another host since with the same view... which is just mind boggling to me.
Not quite as mind boggling as the one that does not allow vanity hostnames though.
