I installed Steam last night and like the first version it crashed. The first time I installed the first version it froze up anytime I tried to connect to any given server. I had to reboot the computer everytime.
Now with the new install of Steam as soon as I launch and try to connect to any given server the HL.exe crashes. I am going to play around with it, but it don't look good. My version of HL is the very first version with every patch that Valve put out. I would hate to reinstall and have to patch the program. Seems my days on drippy's are numbered. We'll see.......

I just installed steam a few minutes ago on one computer. Was easy and I have no problems. I connected to Drippy's second server and didn't crash or lock up. Alos I had forgot my login name and password, was easy to get back. Seems steam is better now. | |

I'll keep an eye out for you Marius, I am playing on the #2 server a lot now, I am enjoying some of the different maps that I do not usually play. I do have to say though, those bots on there are deadly accurate, makes it damn near impossible to compete against them sometimes. | |
