Dunning-Kruger is still in full force if you believe your stats are in any way shape or form impressive, as Dshot expresses all of our shock and bemusement that you routinely insist on genuinely asserting so. Cumulative ranking stats @ nearly 10k hours doesn't mean anything whatsoever, certainly compared to performance as measured per game/hour.
If you genuinely believe you're an asset to your team, post an unaltered screenshot of your ingame !WL. My guess is it'd be hovering close to 1:1, due entirely to the random luck of what team you end up on and how they perform (as having teammates that actually play the objective would shape your # more than you yourself ever would). But I'd also be willing to believe you'd be one of the ones with a negative ratio who is statistically considered a hindrance to your team, as I've been spotting more and more of them lately as they're often placed on my own team even when it'd put us over the # of the opposite, and I may recall you being one of them.
Put up or shut up if you actually want to disprove Dshot's(/grapefruits') opinion of your actual standing, and by extension validate the integrity of your cognitive abilities in objectively assessing anything relating to this server.

Trump tries desperately to convince himself of the same mantra every night.
This game is called Team Fortress Classic, even though it's still a pub. It's entirely unsurprising which sort of players people on the server respect, and which they don't. Skill, tryhardliness, etc. don't have much to do with it. It's instead simply the intention of each player and what they choose to value, and whether it's aiding the team towards the objective (Oli, always on comms doing his genuine best to rally his team, for example), or not (you, defending the reasons why you should now be allowed to pipe enemy respawn interior, for example).
And you quite clearly choose to be the latter, so it's no surprise a great deal of players have absolutely zero respect for you ingame and instead constantly wish you upon the enemy team.
And it's great you've created a shield around your ego where you pretend you don't care what other people think. That way you can continue dragging down the ingame experience for everyone else on your team while you instead simply do whatever it is you fancy. Once again, very Trumpian of you, especially in a topic where everyone's complaining about the way you're corrupting the rules we've all unanimously understood as prior norms. | |
