It's in my RJ script that I've been using for the entire time I've been playing here - 5 + years. Literally nothing has changed in my configs since 2015. What gives?

I feel that bending over for Ralphy (or Walnuts) would be perceived as an appropriate demonstration of contrition and you may then receive your response.

It's been well over an hour with no objection from Murf. Since Ralphy doesn't really exist in the physical world, his legal representative will now take centre stage.

Yes, everything is scripted, I join a game and left click and then for the next 20 minutes everything happens automatically.
Any serious replies? | |

Paste the script?
Depending on whether the server's Windows or Linux (or maybe some other factor), straight down pitchdown is alternately either 89 or 90. I could see someone creating a RJ script for straight down 90 pitchdown on their local Windows server, and drip configuring a check for straight down 89 pitchdown on D2F's Linux (or whatever) server. 89's the config default to begin with.
IIRC certain people have been abusing pitchdown/pitchup in the last year or so to orient themselves oddly to throw people off (or avoid SG fire), so maybe drip finally implemented a check for it.

Here's the script - it's a "skip" jump (more flat to cover distance).
bind mouse2 "+skip" alias dwn "cl_pitchspeed 9999;cl_pitchdown 138;+lookdown;wait; wait" alias +skip "dwn;+r;+jump; +attack; +duck; wait; -lookdown;force_centerview;-attack;wait;-jump" alias -skip "-duck;-r;cl_pitchspeed 225;cl_pitchdown 89"

Hm, well IMO RJs are best done manually anyway, to control the jump based on the situation. Manual jumps take a fraction of a second longer to implement, but you'll feel more skilled doing them.

Buddy boy, you don't need RJ scripts. Do it manually my friend.

The server has a cap on cl_pitchdown to not be larger than 89.
Blame the people that exploited it to avoid damage...

When I went from scriptless to using a few scripts a few years ago, I tried a RJ one. Terrible. I feel like I had no control.

I forgot who it was exactly, I think someone from RABID. Had a fucking zoom script for shotty. Forgot what it did exactly, think it changed the FOV. But, having to swap back and forth just felt like it wasted time...
Right click shotty is where it's at folks. Skips the animation.

Oh FFS its a simple script I use to make long jumps across maps, I know how to RJ manually and do it all the time but this particular jump is much easier to maximize the distance with a script. I only even give a shit because I've been getting kicked for it despite having it in my soldier config for fucking forever. It's capped at 89 so I still don't know why I'm being kicked. I'll change it to 88 and see if that stops the kicks.

It's because of this:
| cl_pitchdown 138 | |
Which is what makes your character briefly stick its head between its legs to get the angle right for the horizontal distance RJ. Since the value is above 89, drip's new server check will detect it and kick you. If you set it to 89 or lower, you'll no longer get the horizontal distance (and would instead go straight up if it's set to 89ish).
Unless you make some convoluted script where you have it spin you 180 degrees both before and after the jump so that you can RJ backwards and reorient, you're probably locked out of a skip RJ script on D2F from now on. Such a spinning skip RJ script is probably doable, but would take a bit of ingame trial and error to perfect I imagine (and might be inconsistent depending on FPS), and again, it'd probably be easier just to gid gud at quickly maximizing horizontal RJ distance manually. People tend to laugh at players with RJ scripts anyway, at least on other servers, heh.
I used to use one too way back in the day but then I got (slightly) gud(er).

Any serious replies? | | That’s bloody awesome hahaha!
I have a question, is there any bloody script to make my firing button stop working until I load a bloody rocket. I have lost quite a few battles pressing fire too early and never loading a rocket. I can’t help myself 😁.
