Big props to LG 5150, NeonLight, Deeg, and xipo for rad youtube videos of tfc matches and highlights. I just want to encourage all of you to start streaming or add content on youtube. I think there is an audience for it, this game is so fun to play. Anyway keep up the good work and if you like, I will subscribe to your channel if you list it here. Nice one. How about linking there youtube channels here? LG is a class act. Me and neonlight go back many years. I haven't seen Deej vids and the 1 or 2 videos of xipo I've seen were pretty good.
*fingers crossed* KILMOV starts his own TFC youtube channel. One example, while the enemy flag moves out of basement and up the spiral, he can make a clip of himself running to respawn for more health and armor while the other team caps. Awesome sauce! | |

In the past, I have thought it would be fun to edit together a little TFC vid. Does anyone have any tips on the best program to convert the .dem files to usable video or good screen recording software to use?

I think it was yesterday. Someone did a scout rush, got the flag and strafe-curveball-handheld-conc-jumped from the shorthall into the spiral. I was both butthurt and in awe. | |

I know a lot of youtubers use OBS, stands for Open Broadcast Software I believe. I’m a OBS noob, but I’m gonna learn it and start putting out some vids. Documentation seems good at a glance, sure there are tuts on youtube. | |

Yeah, its those moments I wanna capture, commentary of game play is kinda cool too, like esports or golf. If you present the content in a way people can understand, then there is context for what is going on in the game. I feel like people can understand esports and commentary. Conc jumping is amazing in the hands of a pro. The gamers on the channels I linked have their concs on lock. I got better at concing just by watching them play, observing the timing. | |

I use OBS for my YouTube music channel and could easily make videos for TFC too. I usually record stuff but delete it after to save space.
LG - Pleaassssseeee uncheck 'enable HD models' in the TFC options so we don't hear that garbage reload sound they implemented a few years back. | |

I have a "TFC Related" playlist on my channel, but most of it deals with banning some plick that thinks the rules don't apply to them.

And yes, I know that the "iPad recorded" videos aren't that good... but it was the only way I had at the time.
Now, I use the nVidia recorder to record the video, and "Windows Movie Maker"(now defunct and unsupported) because it's easy to use. It's no longer supported by Micro$oft, but you can find it if you look.
