No matter what I do, my choke is about 5 all the time. I'll get the delayed death animation often. I also will randomly get 'stuck' on something, it's not like a lag spike exactly, but it's like I am snared and then I can move again.

Whose using what rates?

My personal rates I haven't experimented with too much... x___x I'm missing out on like some sound at times, such as a demoman detting pipes or when I get fragged by a grenade - sound somehow disappears = non existent. Could be my DAC/AMP (Cambridge Audio DAC Magic+) settings connected to PC. >__< Or that something is wrong with these rates.

my rates that match:
cl_updaterate 102
rate 30000
cl_cmdrate 100
The server generally runs at 105-120fps, so it shouldn't drop anything from cmdrate 100

Most people I talk to tend to experience choke if their cl_updaterate is higher than 30ish on servers like D2F and OST, so play around with that if you haven't already. | |

This is helpful for me as well being that all my configs got erased. Havent been back since, but im getting a craving for some TFC.
Schedule doesnt allow for it though even if I wanted. Got a busy summer/spring ahead of me. | |

30 will eliminate issues but that's too low - Try 50 that's what I settled on that works on a full server. | |
