Look i gotTa give credit where credit is do.
mmarino51589 aka pepperjack cheese came out of know where to help the community. He has reached out and asked questions and has been supportive to help current and new comers to the server which is awesome.
Me i came here as a banned sniper for taken out there best. I decided to be better then that and learn other classes. thankfully epz picked me up and i learned a ton and i understand alot of people dont get that treatment but i only got it because i was a pain to his defense. but he taught me a ton.
from there i got better as my sniping skills demished. Gaba i say ur better now. but overall i changed my game from o and d, fuck the stats, if u look me up im rank top in most classes and its not that im pushing for ranks but that im pushing for objective. this post i just want people to understand that if you want to be good you just need to listen to people better then you and continue to press on.

yeah i'm down with that I never thought you're a bad dude just don't pick on me or hurt my feelings I am very sensitive and bruise like peach both physically and emotionally.
I haven't played much lately I'm taking anatomy and physiology and rust builds up fast. also my good mouse and mechanical keyboard got ruined by liquid and I've neglected to replace them.
have you been playing anywhere other than d2f? | |

Admittedly, I did resurface back into TFC after 10+ years of inactivity in recent times (early last year, really). I played hard from 2000-2009 and played many angles of the game. My first join on D2F was September of 2004...which will be 18 years this year (holy crap)
STA, TFL, UGC, etc...
Was in the best concing guild +M|M+ (Master Medics) prior to the emergence of ^vi (vertical impact). Was big into Rocket Jumping, bhop and skill maps but still was strong in the conc community, strong in the CTF community...was part of AVI's, producing AVI's, mapping, all of it and everything in between.
The little bit of banter between all of us here is obviously nothing personal and it's all fun. When I run into good players from days of old like UPSET and brah, it's hella fun. It's hella frustrating on a map like 2fort when the gameplay is 99% of the time casual, but it's still fun.
That being said, I have no idea who this DS chick is that you all talk about. I have no idea what they play like, I have no idea what they're good at. But if she wants a 1v1, I'm down. It's a game, I'll never turn a challenge down. If brah challenged me to a 1v1, I'd happily let him smoke me.
If DS winds up torching me, so be it...who cares? Lol I just became a father...I got way more important shit to worry about now :D | |

It's a well known fact that epz doesn't like me, and probably never has, or ever will. That doesn't bother me, as I may have deserved it. Been so long now, I honestly don't know anymore.
That said, just by WATCHING him, you can learn a lot. I know that, because I focused my early TFC career on Defense, that I was a pain in his ass on here, but I've always said that by having someone as relentless as him coming at me all the time, made me a better D player. Once I decided to work on my O game, I started spectating him, just to see how he did some of the stuff he did. I learned a LOT from him, just by watching him.
Unlike some, I don't believe he cheats at all, but he's got his configs done in such a way (including some scripts, I'm sure, but they ARE legal here) that everything is optimized for his abilities.
As a player, I respect the Hell out of him. He "brings it" at a level that very few could without cheats involved. He has made me so much better over the years, and I am honestly grateful for that.
My point is that even just spectating a really good player can make you better. Especially if you can record and review how he plays.
I have had players show me tricks/tips in the past, and "passing on what you have learned" is, I believe, the kind of thing we ALL should be doing. It only helps to keep new players coming in, and coming back. It expands the player base, and by extension, the community as a whole.

100%. I really started to hone in my skills back in the day when I would spec players like Rent/reen(crazy good medics) and top soldiers back in the day.
DS will never actually 1v1 anyone. He's all bark and no bite. | |
