never had any issues suspecting him of this, isn't he a euro player as well? high ping is easier to seem like cheating | |

We'll, if that's case, I've specced a few very high profile players who weren't missing their shotgun shots (at any range, conced or not) and then they either left the server when they noticed me in spec (I'm very rarely in spec mode), or they carry on playing but start missing shots all of a sudden. I had a clip ready to post, showing this exact scenario, but held it back after the backlash over my bicyclerepairman clip. I'll check and see if I still have it. It was a top player, but I forget who. | |

i played against him manytimes as a solder he hit like a bridge god would but when sniping i always got the better of him. i don't think he was cheating even after some incriminating shots. If he uses aim bot it was terrible when he sniped. | |

I get it's frustrating being the only offense sometimes against a whole team that never leaves base, but it's also frustrating almost just as often being the only one playing competent D against numerous good O.
Either way, snipers are valid classes, and should be able to play lower deck D at that choke without players warping straight through (it's basically a sniper's most useful purpose). brah's already skilled enough to ramp slide and bhop through and throw most snipers off, anyway.
It's too bad though that there's not some middleground between 1500 warp chop speed and 140~145ish bhop speed that the server could use to give lone O players the edge they need to combat the bases full of a dozen speedbumps on their way to the flag. Like, IDK, default bhop, heh. Certainly it's a better option than allowing chop, IMO. And it would aid the O more than anyone, which is what most ppl on this server want.
And who knows, maybe once it's extra obvious that players can't successfully chase good O to stop them, maybe it'll finally dawn on them to plant their feet and learn to play chokepoint D.

Its almost as if maps are designed to be fair to both offense and defense. Bizarre. 2fort is being way too fair to defense IMO. Its really not hard to choke out the enemy with FF off. FF on it becomes a cluster fuck of team kills which gives offense an edge. At least on a pub. | |
I do like 2fort's minimalism but I agree there is a defense bias. The auto-balancer last night had a match where it was 4 A-list defense players against 7 mid-tier players. The 4 were defending the flag like champs. Even outnumbered by 3 we could barely get the flag out of the room. The spiral makes for a tight choke point and the bottom of the elevator makes for good camping. The biggest thing is the resupply in the basement. You fight back the offense then retreat back to the resup for more health and ammo and armor. Chances are the offense has already incurred some damage.
I think the map would be perfectly balanced if the resup in the basement was removed; you had to go to either the sniper spawn or the 2nd floor spawn if you want to resupply. I'm wondering if drippy could lengthen the ammo, health and armor respawn times in the resupply in the basement.

Hit every single shotgun full strength? yes. Have you ever been push/stopped by a shotgun round? The impact is 100% damage of what the cap is for that hit box every time. If a player, that isn't top tier, is constantly doing that but has terrible fucking rocket aim, can't bhop, has zero game sense, and pre combos corners etc. they're definitely aimbotting.
Soldi was on my list of potentials.
There are a couple others.
You know, when I join it's like they toggle it off and avoid me. Totes weird. | |

The “hitting with shotgun at full strength everytime” applies to a lot of top tier players. Every single shot hitting, especially when they do their little strafe-shuffle. No matter how much the opponent runs and jumps around. Every single shot hitting, even when conced.
I’ve had my concerns for some time, but had to eventually just admit that maybe they’re just very good players. But now... well, now I’m thinking the server is rife with these cheaters. Well-known names... friends... It would be awful if that was true. | |

Top tier, there are maybe 5 or 6 in D2F.
Truthfully, I don't miss a conc'ed shotgun anymore than I'd miss an unconc'ed shot gun. It's just built in at this point. I'd presume it's fair to say that my shotgun hits pretty solid majority of the time.
A GG4/Upset/Gaba etc. are going to land those shots also, lower frequency but, yeah they do. | |

Soldi was indeed banned from the Evil servers too, for hacking.
I'll try to find 2 demo files in particular, one where I was playing medic and kept getting sniped/fragged by Soldi like 5 out of 6 times on my way to the enemy base for a flag run.
The other demo file I think was where someone I think named "Nightstalker" or something was publicly accusing Soldi in-game, with Drippy responding to that and giving the server the "STFU and Play" warning.
Not super important, I'm kinda curious :P

Some guy named Maestro (I was later told he is the server admin) was perm banning everybody left, right and centre. So, I said, "is this 'Ban Everybody Day?' " and low and behold I was perm banned as well. They're a bunch of cheats on that server anyway. Some of the EVIL players play God-Like there but suck on Drippy's. Fuck them.
