Doesn't seem like that should be legal. The general rule seems to be you can target teles in the spawn but not indiscriminately toss grenades or deliberately target freshly spawned players. A det pack has no precision and has a delay long enough that you can't predict who will be in the area when it goes off. | |

Why would this not be allowed?
This isnt similar to being allowed to put one right outside main spawn? Being that you are vulnerable setting it.

The difference being that outside spawn would hit people outside spawn, so it serves a purpose other than killing fresh spawns. This would only hit people inside spawn, people that most likely just spawned.
One could argue that he was setting it for someone hugging spawn, but good luck with that. | |

LMAO! I've been banned for doing that before.
Fun fact: No one else was on when I did it. Second person in just happened to be an Admin, and I got nailed for a 1 hour ban over it.
Not that I disagree with the decision... mind you. I did, after all, fuck up... but really, I only did it as a joke(kinda). I figured the next person in would be smart enough to go Spy, disguise as my team, and take it out.
The Admin in question(whom I honestly don't remember who it was) just up and banned me for it. Which, of course, took care of the issue just as well as going Spy and taking the thing out.
I still laugh over that one, but I'd never do it again. Lesson learned. | |

Thank you for confirming exactly what I had thought upon watching that.
Now.....
Do us all a favor, and ban Puppy for 2 weeks for that shit. After all, I've 5-day'd him numerous times for spamming in there, and he obviously hasn't gotten the message. | |
