My question is why care if someone is lingering in spawn (not playing from spawn, not retreating to spawn)?
If they're in spawn, they're serving no purpose to their team anyway. Maybe they're grabbing a beer.
The obsession with taking out somebody minding their own business in respawn is approaching "American foreign policy" levels of absurd. | |

I wouldn't really say the kill in spawn was cheap. He was going for teleporters, and you had ample time to engage him -- its not like you walked out of spawn into a pipe trap, or even were AFK. Arguably you had built a teleporter after you spawned so you were in-play.
I would have seen the nail grenade had you reported the right person, as i was spectating at the time, but you reported 'Jurassic'

You need to type the actual issue (I do it in the console), e.g. "!report ASS Gibson, throwing nail gren in sniper spawn".
I'm a little concerned how you always stop playing at every perceived sleight though. It's only a game, sometimes just let it go?

I only report if it's habitual...I'll risk a !whiner letting them know it's prohibited in public chat...sometimes people just don't know...if it's a regular after the 2nd time I'll report

thank you -drippy for making the !whiner become less after a time without whining...I'm not sure how to word that LOL

The kill list in the upper right lets us know who is killing without :
a) pointing your gun at the guy in question
and
b) subsequently outright lying about how many shots it took to kill the tele. | |

Ah, and there's the missing context. If the engineer built a tele on that "life", he was in play all the way.
No excuse for the nail grenade regardless. | |

The kill list in the upper right does not tell you intent as well as you being able to see what's going on for yourself. For instance: is your death collateral damage from another tele being destroyed? Or collateral damage from them engaging someone who DID shoot at them?
I stand by my previous point: That a fresh spawn (assumedly) was facing in your direction is the most tenuous of excuses for blasting them in the face with a rocket.
