Fairly certain more civilians have been killed in Gaza than Ukraine Russia conflict. Yet we’re bff forever with Israel. And oh by the way I am an anti semite for criticizing Israel’s ethnic cleansing.

The only difference between Ann frank and Santa Claus is the direction they go through the chimney.

Yes, no matter what, Left is always to blame. Nancy Pelosi is also the reason Trump has been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency despite being a 6’8” linebacker specimen of a human.

Well, if they weren't so set on defending the dumb shit, then putting a dumb shit up against Trump, and possibly coming toward the middle, maybe, just maybe they wouldn't have pushed voters away.

Meet in the middle on some of these issues and maybe the other side wouldn't be so extreme the other way? See how you can take that sentence and apply it to either the right or left?

We can debate the merits of the 14th Amendment til we're blue in the face, as each side's legal 'experts' interpret it differently. I'll give you due process in your context, but there's an impossibility behind it with the sheer volume of people let in by the prior administration illegally. We're the only country who is not supposed to have a border, and it's ridiculous.

I never agreed with birthright citizenship in the manner in which it was being used. Slide into a country illegally and then pop out a kid and *poof* they're granted citizenship? No. Come here legally and during that process you have a kid and *poof* that child is a citizen? Yeah, I'm good with that.

It boils down to right and wrong, which you and I may see differently.

Side note: I feel bad for the people of Gaza, but fuck Hamas. I understand the kerfuffle with Israel, but fuck Hamas. Hamas is a problem and Hamas is the reason so many innocents have been killed. How was it said? Hamas/Palestinians want to kill all the Israeli Jews, but can't, while Israel could kill all of the Palestinians, but won't. None of it is right, but fuck Hamas. I realize that is a simplistic view of a complex issue, but if I haven't said it: Fuck Hamas.

Claiming that Republican extremism stems from the Left’s failure to present a compelling message inverts responsibility in a misleading way. It shifts the burden for rising authoritarianism, disinformation, and norm-breaking away from those choosing to engage in it, and onto those who are not. This framing treats radical behavior as a reaction to political disappointment rather than a deliberate, accountable choice. It’s not the job of one political party to prevent the other from abandoning democratic principles — that responsibility lies with those who are abandoning them.

Trump was an easy candidate to beat and the left dropped the ball.

Blaming Hamas is like blaming the ninth domino for toppling the tenth. Hamas exists to Israel's strategic benefit. With Hamas, which Netanyahu funded, there is "no path to peace" and thus, no possibility of a two-state solution.

Hamas wants to kill Israelis because Israelis have been slaughtering Palestinians for seventy five fucking years.

You're on the wrong side of history on this one. It won't even be me who convinces you otherwise. The entire world will come around to the truth eventually. "One day, everyone will have always been against this."

I encourage you to do the bare minimum amount of research into the topic beyond the hasbara lies.

Now I ask you, Mr. Doyle, what do thieves do?

Beg pardon?

It's a simple question. What do thieves do?

They steal things?

Correct. That's their job... they steal things. And warehouse owners?

Store things?

Right again. Now, who, in this scenario, wasn't doing their job? The thief, whose entire reason for being is to steal things, or the fսcking imbecile who left the warehouse full of liquor unlocked while he was taking a goddamn dump?

The imbecile?

The imbecile.

Your position is exactly the same as saying “well if the wife didn’t want to get beat up by her abusive husband, she shouldn’t have had the kid with him!”

You’re not supposed to align with the drunk abusive dad.

But hey, you do you.

Give me something then...just one article to read. Something good and concise to put me on a path. Remember, for 50ish years, it's been one story, up until October 7th, and now a different story is emerging.

In the end, my view may or may not change, but I'm at least willing to read something that you think will help.

Sorry, PTA, I went too hard on that one (and I was also drinking). Despite our opposite views on things, you're one of the easiest people to have a conversation with here.

Yeah, sure, I'll see what I can find that's concise and paints a broad picture.
